Big Event– I am so excited to announce that all students in our class are going to the first quarter Big Event. The theme of the first Big Event is “A Day in the Life of a High Schooler.” We have many fun “High School” activities planned for this time. We are inviting students to dress the part of a possible high school group. Some ideas include: football jerseys, basketball jerseys, French Club attire, Spanish Club attire, Art Club attire, Drama Club attire (The play this year is Cinderella.), etc. Please know that a part of the Big Event will take place outside, so whatever students choose to wear needs to be easy to move in. I am looking forward to this fun time together...we SOAR! Conferences-If you did not sign up for a conference using Sign Up Genius, will this time work for you? _______________________________. Please let me know if you have a scheduling conflict as I am required to meet face-to-face with all parents, National Anti-Bullying Day– Next Wednesday, October 10th, is National Anti-Bullying Day. As a way to show support and honor this day, we are asking that everyone wear orange. It's time for our Fall Party- We will have a grade level party on October 29th in the gym. Four stations will be set up for the classes to rotate through and have lots of fun! As always we would love to have volunteers. Fourth grade will be at 8:50-9:40.
