October 14- October 20
Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.
When we give to God’s work, we can expect to receive a blessing in return. Luke 6:38, “Give and it shall be given; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over it shall be given back to you.”
Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Apostles Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus’ stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen
Hebrews 10:38, “Now the just shall live by faith…” I am a doer of the Word and not a hearer only. James 1: 22 Whatsoever things I pray and ask, I believe that I receive them and I have them. Mark 11:24
God created all living things with the ability to make more like themselves. This is call reproducing. Every living thing reproduces itself with seeds. The seed has a genetic code inside to make more of the same thing that it came from. The seed has a genetic code inside to make more of the same thing it came from. Even if the seed is not planted for years, it does not lose the power to produce. But the seed will not grow unless it is planted. The planted seed will multiply itself many hundreds of times if it is allowed to grow. The seed and harvest principle is based on increase. Everyone who sows seeds should expect increase. Everyone who sows seeds should expect to receive a harvest. We must remember that when we give to God’s kingdom, there is protection over our sowing and reaping.
