RUBRIC : Issues
You completed a collage communication your position about a speciﬁc personal, political, environmental, religious, or social issue. You used a minimum of two art materials (examples: paint, image transfer, India ink, etc.) A minimum of three collage techniques have been used (examples: masking, layering, image transfer, etc.)
Your collage shows evidence of thought, time, and care. There are no un-resolved areas, and every part of the collage has been treated with equal effort. Final collage is free of excess or unnecessary smudges, smears, rips, or creases.
You have utilized the compositional strategies of SIZE, VIEW, and/or PLACEMENT when organizing the various components of your collage. You have successfully used the components of your piece in such a way that they work well together to unify the piece and convey your “issue”.
The collage techniques used contribute to the overall success of the ﬁnal design. You used your time productively, appropriately, and safely during every class. You took care of the art materials and voluntarily assisted in clean-up on a daily basis.
