Day 1: Choosing your Niche
"A whole day just for choosing a niche?" Yes! Believe it or not, a lot of people will take a whole day to actually decide upon a niche that they are happy to go with for their email marke8ng campaign. Here are a few pointers for choosing a niche: • Choose something that you are interested in -‐ You've probably heard that enough 8mes before but it really does help. If you can show your passion for a subject then you will be able to sell it easier. Do you like to gamble? Have a passion for kniRng? Enjoy the odd game of football? • Choose something that is evergreen -‐ Evergreen, in the IM world, means something that will constantly be current and mone8zable. For example, a course to "Help People Stop Smoking" will be evergreen because there will always be people who are trying to quit. However, a course called "How to Jail Break an iPhone 5" is preZy limited because it won't be current when the iPhone 6, 7 and 8 come out. • Choose something that is mone8zable -‐ There's no point in you picking a market where there are no products to promote. Go through Clickbank, JVZoo and other aﬃliate programs just to check that there is a suitable product for you to promote. If there's not then you have two choices: Create the product yourself or move onto another niche. • Choose something unique -‐ Easier said than done, I know. But if you can ﬁnd a liZle market for yourself then you'll ﬁnd it easier to become an authority ﬁgure within that market. Authority ﬁgure = Easier to sell products = More money! Now all you need to do is ﬁnd a niche that slots into all 4 of those criteria. Not too hard... That's why we've given you a day to complete this task. Choosing the wrong niche can mean you waste a lot of 8me and money. Choosing the right niche can mean you make a lot of money... GET THIS BIT RIGHT!
Day 2 Part 1: Choosing a Domain
Because we're not going to be focussing our eﬀorts on SEO here, you don't need to jam pack your domain with keywords, or abide by any new Google rules and algorithm changes. Instead, you want to choose a catchy, easy to remember and aesthe8cally pleasing domain name.
Of course, you want to get your main niche in there just so it's obvious exactly what your giving away. So if your niche is healthy ea8ng, then make sure those two words are in your domain. Another great word to get in the domain is FREE. People love free stuﬀ! If they see your domain somewhere just pasted in its raw state and they see the word FREE they will naturally be aZracted to it and also be inquisi8ve with regards to what they might get for free. Finally, you want another word or two to explain what people will be geRng. Is it a video? Is it a guide? It is a course? Taking these three elements, and our healthy ea8ng niche example, some domains that could work here would include: freehealthyea8ngcourse.com freehealthyea8ngguide.com healthyea8ngfreecourse.com Just mix and match them up a liZle un8l you ﬁnd a domain that you are happy with.
Day 2 Part 2: Se?ng up your Website
First of all once you have your domain, you will want to buy it along with hos8ng. Now everyone has their opinions for who the best host is but when it comes to it, I have to say that HostGator have NEVER failed on me.

I could spend a good few hours explaining how set up your domain, hos8ng and Wordpress but Hostgator provide some preZy decent tutorials to help with this. Once you've got your domain and hos8ng all set up. Go to your Cpanel and install Wordpress via Fantas8co -‐ This makes it SUPER easy. Just follow the instruc8ons! Now you need to complete the Wordpress installa8on, again an easy process. Enter the name of your site and the tagline along with the other required informa8on. That's your Wordpress site done! One thing you will NEED to do is go to "SeRngs -‐-‐> Permalinks -‐-‐> Change it to Post" so that the URL has the post name in it, it just makes it neater and look nicer than a load of numbers and random leZers. "What about SEO?" "Any plugins?!" "Theme??"
Please just be pa8ent. As the days move on in this list building course, you understand why we do what we do each day. That's today's work done! If you've got a few more hours set aside for your list building campaign, then get familiar with Wordpress. Day 3 Part 1: Choosing a Product Type
Before you even being to create your product, you need to come up with the type of product you are going to be giving away. There are MANY product types you can create. Ul8mately, it comes down to your technical ability, 8me you have available and your knowledge of the subject. Below are a few sugges8ons for crea8ng a product: • A Bog Standard PDF Guide -‐ Generally, a free PDF that you give away to get people to sign up to your list will be 10-‐20 pages in length although I've seen longer and shorter. I would s8ck to this 10-‐20 page limit though. Anything more tends to just be ﬁlled with ﬂuﬀ and anything shorter isn't quite adequate enough. This product can be used with most niches. • A Course Split over Mul8ple PDFs -‐ Like your bog standard PDF guide, a course split over mul8ple PDFs can be using with most niches. I prefer oﬀering courses to one PDF because it looks like your providing even more content. • A Video Course -‐ Video camera, you, talk! That's all there really is to video courses. You will answer a problem or teach subscribers something by speaking to them. There are a few types of video courses and they don't necessarily have to involve you speaking, they could instead be made up of screen captures. Again, any niche works here! • An Audio Course -‐ Almost IDENTICAL to video courses ( just minus the images). You talk into a microphone and again answer problems or teach something. Any niche is suitable here AGAIN. • So:ware or Tools -‐ This is where it gets either technical or expensive. If you have unique so:ware or tools that you can give away and it is suitable for your niche then you ﬁnd it easy to convert subscribers. People value so:ware and tools far higher than a PDF. • Graphics or Content -‐ Again, this won't be suitable in every niche but if you can create decent looking graphics that you can then give away you'll ﬁnd it easy to convert subscribers. There, you've got six product types you can look at crea8ng and giving away to encourage people to join your email list. Deciding which to go for is actually preZy simple. All you need to do is look at which one would be EASIEST for you! Could you talk about the product for half an hour? Then a video course! Are you good on photoshop? Then graphics! Just go for what you're good at!
Day 3 Part 2: CreaDng that Product
Now you've actually got to create your product. There are 10 hour long courses on product crea8on so I'm not going to pretend to teach you EVERYTHING about product crea8on in a few paragraphs. I will give you a few pointers!
FIrst of all, you need to come up with what the product will be about. Regardless of whether you're crea8ng a video or wri8ng a PDF... You s8ll need a subject. That subject MUST answer a ques8on or solve a problem. For example "how to stop smoking in 30 days" solves the problem of how to actually stop smoking" whereas "why smoking is bad for you" doesn't really solve a problem and is not something people would be interested in as much. Provided that you know about the subject you are wri8ng about, and you have a passion for it then you should ﬁnd this easy. If however, you are struggling, then there are numerous products around that can help you to create a product quickly and eﬀec8vely that provided real value to your subscribers. However, one I really do rate highly is: Rapid Product Crea;on Unleashed -‐ Click Here -‐ It's a straight forward, to the point course and is only $10! I've seen courses like this go for $50, $100, $500... Not too sure how long this is going to stay at this price though! That guide is worth HUNDREDS and in my opinion the vendor is not charging enough for it. Crea8ng a product can be really hard for many people so that course above can be a real helping hand. So that's day 3 over and done with, get that product created now!
Day 4: Set up your Autoresponder
I'll be honest... This is going to be quite a light day in terms of work load so if I were you, I'd make sure that I'd have other stuﬀ to get on with because today's work shouldn't take you any longer than 1 hour... If that! 1. First of all, you need an Autoresponder! Now there's debate over who the best is and o:en it comes down to budget. However, for an ini8al $1 a month and then $19 a month a:er your ﬁrst month, I would go for Aweber! They've become preZy standard in terms of email marke8ng and they're the most reliable (from my experience). So ﬁrst job, sign up to Aweber here ! 2. Now you need to create your list. Hit the Create a List op8on on your Aweber account and just follow the instruc8ons. For today, you only need to create the list and sort the conﬁrma8on email. Make sure you leave the conﬁrma8on turned on... Double Op8n is a MUST! 3. Today you DO NOT need to write the welcome email, you do not need to create a web form. Just get the basics of it all set up. 4. Spend another hour or 2 if you have them free, just 8nkering around with Aweber. Read the help ﬁles, watch the tutorials and if you have any ques8ons, just let us know. Today is done... Yes ALREADY. We thought you deserved a lighter day a:er all the work you've done so far. But get ready for it is only going to get harder and harder and harder. So get ready for tomorrow, because there’s more work for you!
Day 5 Part 1: Finish Se?ng up your Autoresponder

Yes, it's that easy. Obviously pad that all out a liZle and make it a liZle nicer sounding. But that's the layout you want to use.
Day 5 Part 2: Write 10 Follow up Emails
This is the money making part... These emails are what will make you money so you really need to get this write. In Aweber go to Messages and then Follow Up and you will be taken to the follow up editor. You want them preZy clean and simple to read (much like these emails). Usually, this is the format I will use for the follow up series in the ﬁrst 10 emails: Email 1: This would be your welcome email. You should see this in your list of follow up emails when you click Messages -‐-‐> Follow Up. This email will be sent out on the day that they sign up.
Email 2 -‐ 1 Day Later: Ask them what they thought of your guide/video/product. Ask if it is what they were expec8ng and what they thought was missing. This way you can ﬁnd out how to improve your product and then do so. You want to con8nually improve your product to make it even more valuable to subscribers. Email 3 -‐ 1 Day Later: Send some more FREE 8ps related to the guide. Something I think is nice here is to sent an Infographic of 8ps. Piktochart is a great place to make them and you can do it for FREE! People love visuals and there's nothing more visual than an Infographic. Email 4 -‐ 2 Days Later: Promote a product on this day that compliments the free product you ini8ally gave. It's not good promo8ng a product that answers the same ques8on as the free guide you gave away... What would be the point in buying it? It's need to either compliment, or further enhance the guide you gave away. Email 5 -‐ 1 Day Later: Ask whether they purchased the product you promoted and what they thought about it in this email. Email 6 -‐ 3 Days Later: You want to provide yet another free guide, product or set of 8ps here. It is all about making the subscriber feel as if they are geRng A LOT from you for nothing which will o:en encourage them to buy later on down the line. Email 7 -‐ 1 Day Later: Again, the usual, check they liked it and ask for opinions and so on. DO NOT use the word "review" though -‐-‐ It's just a liZle too formal. Email 8 -‐ 2 Days Later: Link to a website (it could be your own if you created a new website in the same niche) and link to an 'interes8ng' ar8cle. "I've just been reading this and thought it would be something you'd enjoy reading: Link Here" and then ﬂuﬀ it all up a liZle. It's to show you are thinking of the subscriber ALL THE TIME. Email 9 -‐ 4 Days Later: Promote ANOTHER product (that's right, 10 emails and 2 promo8onal emails but that's what I tend to do 20% are promo8ng something). Email 10 -‐ 1 Day Later: Again, the usual check it was alright and that they enjoy read it. There! You should now have 17 days worth of emails all done today. Now that's not bad going. Of course, when you become familiar with how it all works and you're making money then you can outsource the lot of this. But for now... Do it yourself!
Day 6 Part 1: Get a Squeeze Page Theme
There are free and paid themes, but I really don't think there is anything comparable to either Proﬁts Theme or Op8mize Press both of which have become preZy standard for crea8ng squeeze and sales pages due to their ease of use. Proﬁts Theme -‐ Click Here -‐ $97 -‐ This is my favourite and is actually used on the List Building in 28 Days website. It's incredibly simple to use AND customize, especially if you join up as a subscriber to their members only area where you get access to upgrades and themes. It uses a very simple drag and drop interface and can be used on unlimited sites.
Op8mise Press -‐ Click Here -‐ Again $97 -‐ I've less experience with Op8mize Press although I do have some. It's not quite as intui8ve as Proﬁts Theme but it s8ll preZy good at doing what it says and uses the same Drag and Drop interface. So you'll need to pick one of these -‐-‐ Yes, a he:y up front cost to your squeeze page BUT they can be used forever and ever on as many squeeze pages as you want and remember you can also create sales pages, membership sites and so on using these themes. Once you've picked one... Move onto Part 2.
Day 6 Part 2: Set the Squeeze Page up
Now you need to install your chosen theme: Whether you've gone for Proﬁts Theme or Op8mize Press, you need to go to Appearance -‐-‐> Themes -‐-‐> Add New and then upload the theme and ac8vate it. Done? It would take me a long 8me to explain the ins and outs of both themes so instead, use the instruc8on manuals that came with the theme to create a squeeze page. I would recommend crea8ng a video squeeze page but more on that in a minute. Both themes come with a page generator, so go to that and create your squeeze page. Find your page and open up the Wordpress editor. There's a few elements we are going to talk about here: Heading: When it comes to headings, I would usually opt for a pre-‐headline and then a main headline. Your pre-‐headline will be up to 10 words that just catches people's aZen8on. Your main headline would then be the main reason for joining (in this case, a free guide to xxxxxxxxxx). 1 Example: "FREE Video Series Reveals how you can Lose 10 Pounds in 10 Days WITHOUT going to the Gym!" Another Example: "Totally FREE Guide Teaches YOU how to make $500 a week on eBay... EVERY week!" Look at the structure of these headlines -‐ First up, FREE! You need to let people know it is free. The next bit tells people what it is, so is it a guide or video or what... The next bit is telling people what they will get. You need to talk to them. Use YOU. Video: I would highly recommend using a video, it just makes it easier to sell. People prefer watching a video to reading and it's just easier for you. Wri8ng a sales leZer can be 8me consuming and geRng it right is diﬃcult. With a video, you can grab a camera, sit in front of it and sell it to people. You can also interact with people, point out of frame towards your sign up form and so on. If however, you're not a fan of videos and would prefer someone else to do it for you, then Killer Sales Videos are REALLY good... I've used them numerous 8mes to create videos and they've done a really nice job. If you want to look professional and want people to take you seriously then I would certainly recommend using them. Check them out HERE!
Opt In Form: Yes, the important bit... Where people enter their details. Now with the themes I have suggested, this bit is SUPER easy. First, you will need to go to Aweber and create a form. This is easy. Log into Aweber, click Web Forms (making sure you have the correct list name in the drop down box on the le: hand side of the naviga8on bar). Now create your form, you don't need to style it or anything. Then grab the HTML code. Go to your theme and where it speciﬁes, paste in your code. Done! Your form is now all set up and people can enter their details. Copy: Even though I suggest using a video, I would s8ll recommend having a liZle bit of text underneath it just to explain what people will be geRng. I tend to have a couple of lines explaining what the product is and then have 5 bullet points with advantages. This is all you really need to put.
Day 7: Test Everything
Another day that is VERY light on the work load... A day of tes8ng. It might seem like an easy day but it is certainly one of the most important -‐-‐ It is the day you make sure everything is in place and working. You don't want to spend hours each and every day promo8ng a squeeze page that doesn't actually capture email addresses... So make sure it's working! There's not a lot to this, in fact, all it really involves is checking that your squeeze page is presentable, the video plays as you want it to and you can successfully sign up to your own list! Tip! Don't unsubscribe from your own list -‐ There's a great advantage with being the ﬁrst person subscribed to it and that is that you will be able to spot any mistakes in emails before they go out to anyone else which helps in avoiding people having a whinge (as they will do inevitably)! Tested done then it's OVER! You're ready and done to start promo;ng!
Week 1 Finished!
You've created a website, set up an autoresponder, created a video squeeze page and are now ready and wai8ng to begin the promo8on... It's 8me to take a bit of a break... Well un8l tomorrow! The hard work is s8ll to come and that is in bringing traﬃc to your website. Go relax while you can and keep and get ready to start on Day 8!
Welcome to Week 2, 3 and 4!
Congratula8ons! You've completed week 1: The seRng up! Now you're onto working on the traﬃc part... The bit that gets you subscribers! The part I suspect you've been wai8ng for... Now this is not going to be easy, it's not a press a few buZons here and there and wait for the magic to happen type of course. You have to put the eﬀort in to get results (as with anything worth while and long term).
We will give you some short cuts, 8ps and tricks along the way but the majority will involve hard work! So get to and GOOD LUCK! Have Fun!
Day 8: Set up a Blog
WARNING: This is not going to create traﬃc over night, it is a long term method that is used not only to build traﬃc, but also as a way of building up your authority within a niche. It's all well and good SAYING that you know you're stuﬀ, it's another thing actually proving it. Of course, if you're faking it then you could always hire someone to do it for you? So what do you need to do here then? Well remember how you set up Wordpress, well you need to do it AGAIN but this 8me on a subdomain such as youdomain.com/blog or blog.yourdomain.com -‐ Either is ﬁne. Just go through the help ﬁles and FAQs for your speciﬁc host just in case you opted for a diﬀerent host to Host Gator. Once you've got it set up, grab yourself a theme. Now we recommend Elegant Themes and that is because they are professional looking and being constantly updated. It's $39 a year, but for that you gain access to EVERY theme, present and future. Sign up Now! Now that you've got a theme all up and sorted, you need to make sure your Permalinks are sorted. Go to SeRngs then Permalinks and change to post. Now it's ;me to write your ﬁrst post! Firstly, I just want to say that you need to be adding 2 posts each and every week. Aim to write between 300 and 600 words and just write away. You will also need to create some categories. Always add images as people like images! Of course, you might HATE wri8ng and you might know NOTHING about the subject, if this is the case, then outsource! One of the most reliable outsourcing companies is 99 Cent Ar8cles -‐ CLICK HERE -‐ You can get 10 ar8cles for $56 which isn't bad going AT ALL! That's 5 weeks of content for your blog so if you want to save the 8me and eﬀort (and of course) can aﬀord it, then go for it! Order Here!
Day 9 Part 1: On Page SEO
Firstly, right oﬀ the bat, I am going to INSIST that you purchase a Wordpress plugin. It's a must-‐ have and something you will become to rely upon... SEOPressor! Basically, your On Page SEO becomes as simple as 8cking oﬀ a few requirements on a list that SEOPressor provides you with and then geRng your SEO score to 100% SEOPressor is loved by EVERY IMer that I know who uses it and they don't remember a 8me before having it! It's like having your own personal SEO expert to guide you in crea8ng perfectly SE Op8mized pages... Except it's cheaper and quicker! So your ﬁrst job is to get SEOPressor -‐-‐ Buy it HERE!
Once you have purchased it, installed it and ac8vated it on your blog then it is 8me to go to a blog post that you have wriZen. You will see in the top right that there is a percentage score for your page, a keyword box and a few requirements. Enter the keyword you want to target in this box, then create your score. Then go through the requirements, the ones with crosses and sort them out... Get them changed to 8cks! It's easy and you're on page SEO will be PERFECT!
Day 9 Part 2: Web Form IntegraDon
Now that you've got your site looking good through Google's eyes, it's 8me to get a web form up on your blog -‐-‐ This is JUST in case you get some traﬃc at this stage as you don't want to miss out on these poten8al subscribers. The reason we do this is because you never know with Google and you could end up ranking for terms without even trying which could lead to poten8al traﬃc. First of all, you need to go to Web Form on Aweber (making sure you have the correct list in the drop down box on the le: had side of the naviga8on bar). Now follow the instruc8ons to create a web form. There are templates which make it SUPER easy to do so no design skills require. Make it 290px in width -‐ I am assuming you are using a preZy standard Wordpress theme which has sidebars that are 300px in width. Con8nue to the next steps un8l you get to the page with the code. You want the short code which is 1/2 lines in length. Copy it and paste it into notepad or wherever you can access. Now go to your Wordpress blog, browse to Appearance, then Widgets and drag a Text widget to your sidebar. Grab that code you saved and paste it into the text widget. Save. Done! Easy right! Now just check it's working and signs you up as normal and then you're done for Day 9... Another simple day, but don't worry, it's all going to start geRng more diﬃcult soon.
Day 10 Part 1: Set up TwiXer
Poten8ally one of the EASIEST parts of this course -‐-‐ Go and set up TwiZer. Get the username as closer to your URL as possible. If you need to, then add a 1 at the end of the username. Once you've signed up and conﬁrmed, then it's 8me to add a descrip8on. First things ﬁrst, in your descrip8on put a link to your squeeze page and follow it with a short descrip8on of what people can receive for free from your squeeze page. The next job is to upload two images, one for your background and another for your proﬁt picture. Make it look good and make sure it is related to your niche! Remember, people like things to look good, now I'm not saying spend HOURS on this, but just make it appealing...
Day 10 Part 2: Set up the Auto PosDng
Now you may ﬁnd this quite diﬃcult, so sit down, get yourself in the right frame of mind to focus for an hour and then get ready.
1. First up, you need to install WP to TwiZer, it's totally free and is available on the plugins page of Wordpress (or you could just click here!) So get that installed and ac8vated. 2. Follow the instruc8ons -‐ I know, not par8cularly helpful but we cannot compete with the way that WP to TwiZer explains how to set it all up so just follow the instruc8ons. Once you're done... You're done! If you ﬁnd yourself have some real issues with seRng up the plugin then do just drop us an email.
Day 11 Part 1: Join Facebook
Now if you've already got a Facebook account then that's a help, if not, then get yourself one! It's really simple so I won't go into explaining that. Next job is to create a page so ﬁrst in the search bar at the top of Facebook (when you're logged in) type in "Create New Facebook Page" and select the obvious op8on from the drop down menu. I would generally click on Brand and then from the drop down menu select website. Obviously put the name of your page the same as your website's name and domain. Next it's image 8me, I would recommend using the same image as you used on TwiZer just so it saves you 8me and so there is a bit of uniformity between your two social network accounts. In the about part, ﬁrst up... Link! Get that squeeze page link in there right away. Then right a liZle bit of text about what people will get for free if they visit. Also put your link in the website box and also add TwiZer here. No need to enable ads! Done! Your page is up -‐-‐ Of course you could add a snazzy cover photo, make a couple of statuses and so on but the bulk of your page is completed!
Day 11 Part 2: Set up Auto PosDng
Deja Vu? No... That was TwiZer! This 8me it is Facebook and it's a whole lot easier so if you struggled yesterday then you will certainly ﬁnd today so much easier. No complicated applica8ons to conﬁgure, no codes and long secret keys... Just a couple of buZons to click... Simple! So let's get started: First of all, you need to log yourself into TwiZer. Simple enough! Now browse like this: Hit the cog in the top right, then seRngs, followed by Proﬁle. Now scroll down to where it says "Post Tweets to Facebook" -‐ Hit that buZon! You will now need to sign into Facebook making sure you sign into the account where you created your page. Done? Now select page from the list and hit "Save Changes" -‐ You're all done! Less of a headache this 8me? Day complete! Of course, you could submit a tweet or two just to be on the safe side and make sure it is all auto pos8ng correctly.
Day 12: Get Followers!
The easiest way there is to follow people! I'd say if you followed 50 people, you'd expect 20% to follow you back in 8me. Yes, it's tedious but it works and if you get 10 followers a day then that could be over 3,500 in a year all viewing your content and all poten8al sign ups to your list. First of all you need to ﬁnd people who are interested in your niche. So go to the search bar at the top and simply enter your niche. It will then present you with some related accounts. Click onto one of these accounts and then look at their followers... Begin to follow them! You could always think a liZle further out of the box. For example, if you are giving away a digital cookbook then you know your target audience are likely to follow Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsey so follow their followers on TwiZer. The same could be said if you were in the gambling niche, then check out the TwiZer proﬁts of Racing Post, Bexair and William Hill. You will need to follow AT LEAST 50-‐100 people per day in order to make this eﬀec8ve. A:er a few weeks, you may also be following 1000s but only be followed by 100s so you'll also have to spend some 8me whiZling out the ‘unfollowers’.
But Surely there's an Easier Way? YES!
But 8me saving and ease comes at a cost , but I'm sure you know that. So what is the cost? Well from $55 through to $188 depending on the license you purchase. So what are talking about? Well TweetAdder! It's probably one of the best TwiZer bots EVER. You can follow people who follow people you specify, you can follow people who men8on a keyword, you can have it automa8cally thank people who follow you, you can have it automa8cally send out Tweets... Day 13 Part 1: Likes People's Comments
OK, that sounds easy enough doesn't it? Well it is as easy as it sounds! First up, go to a page on Facebook in the same niche as yours. Now, making sure you are logged in as your page, like people's comments. You want to be pressing the like buZon on between 50 and 100 comments and you can repeat this again a few hours later if you want.
What happens here is that the people's comments that you like will get a no8ﬁca8on to say their comment was liked by "YOUR PAGE" -‐ The inquisi8ve ones, click the link and will o:en like! Easy right?
(OpRonal but highly recommended!) Check out Facebook Power Here! -‐ Facebook ALONE can bring in 100 subscribers a week, EASILY! That's a poten8al 5,000+ subscribers a week. But it relies on you having the knowledge and exper8se to market correctly. The thing is, we could spend a whole 28 days just talking about Facebook Marke8ng but that's not what this course is about. Day 14: Forum PromoDon... It's EASY!
This is one of the most eﬀec8ve FREE ways to promote your squeeze page and doesn't involve that much eﬀort, especially if you know about the subject. The ﬁrst job is to ﬁnd three forums that are in your niche. The easiest and obvious way to do this is to go to Google and type in "[YOUR NICHE] Forum" Now get signing up. This shouldn't take you more than 30-‐45 minutes to complete. All you need to do is enter you registra8on informa8on and conﬁrm. Something I think is vital is a proﬁt avatar. This just shows you are serious, a real person and for some reason anyone with an avatar tends to get taken as someone with authority which is something YOU want! Now you want to make 10 posts to the site every day! That's 30 a day and no more than an hour of work a day! DO NOT ADD A SIGNATURE YET! Keep going un8l you have at least 100 posts on each account. When you hit 100 then it's 8me to get a signature. Add your signature and format it like this: "I've ﬁnally wriVen a FREE guide to "[PROBLEM HERE]" -‐ Get it here! -‐ LINK" And then of course con8nue to make posts on a daily basis (remembering if you get bored then you can outsource all of this).
You'd be surprised just how much traﬃc this will actually bring it! It's VERY powerful and an easy way to show your knowledge and authority within the niche!
Day 15 Part 1: Create 5 Youtube Videos
You might be panicking here -‐-‐ Not crea8ve? But you don't need to be! The beauty of powerpoint comes into its own here. All you need to do is create 4 or 5 slides and then turn it into a video. Simple! If you don't have powerpoint then you could use movie maker and do the same with 8tles. Just add 8tles explaining something and answering ques8ons. OR even beZer: S8ck a camera on a tripod, turn it to face you and record yourself chaRng away about your niche. Show oﬀ the knowledge that you have! This is one of the simplest ways to put a video together but it is ALSO one that requires conﬁdence. If you have an obsession with making things look preZy, then try Masher -‐ It's totally free and is a way of crea8ng 'sexy' videos for Youtube -‐-‐ Check it out HERE!
Day 15 Part 2: Upload your Youtube Videos
Now it's 8me to set up Youtube and get your videos uploaded! Obviously ﬁrst up you want to get yourself an account -‐-‐ This won't take more than 5 minutes, it's so simple. Now go to the upload sec8on and add your video. This is the important bit: Title -‐ It's important to have your main keyword and alternate phrases of your keyword in the 8tle. For instance, if I wanted to rank for "Make Money Online" I would also have a couple of varia8on plus a human phrase to ensure it doesn't look spammy. For example: How to make money online for dumb people!" Descrip;ons -‐ First things ﬁrst... Get your domain in there ﬁrst. Yes, the link to your squeeze page is VITAL... Now write 300 words or so in the descrip8ons basically about your niche. Don't focus on geRng your keywords in there as they should just naturally fall in. Being OVER op8mised is a big NO NO! Tags -‐ Make sure your main keyword and all varia8ons are in there. You are trying to rank for relevancy so it's important to get all your keywords in the tag box. (AZer it is uploaded) Youtube comments -‐ A nice twist and a liZle secret. COMMENTS! Now geRng your keyword on the page is vital so why not make a few comments and get the keyword in those comments... Why not go onto Fiverr.com and HIRE someone to do this for you? Provided that they look human, you'll be ﬁne! That's it! Youtube is simple yet can be very good for traﬃc... It all depends on the market you are promo8ng. If it looks like it's bringing A LOT of traﬃc then make sure you repeat it every week!
Day 16: Find 10 Guest PosDng OpportuniDes
This is a day where you REALLY need to knuckle down, so get ready to focus! Finding guest pos8ng opportuni8es is so simple -‐-‐ It capitalizes on using search strings in Google. So go to Google and enter one of the following strings to ﬁnd a suitable guest pos8ng opportunity online: "Your Niche" inurl:write-‐for-‐us "Your Niche" inurl:guest-‐post "Your Niche" + "Write for us" "Your Niche" inurl:guest-‐posRng-‐guidelines Those will do... There's no point ﬂooding you with strings as you won't know which to use and these are plenty. So go to Google, enter one, and have a browse and ﬁnd 10 guest pos8ng opportuni8es that are related to your website.
Day 16: Write those 10 Guest Posts
First of all, we will say we NEVER, yes NEVER EVER, write guest posts ourselves. It's just so 8me consuming. We spend the 8me to ﬁnd high quality guest pos8ng opportuni8es on popular websites and then site back. Why write when there are people who can do it 100 8mes beZer while I can be working on something more produc8ve? Of course! If you're an accomplished writer then go ahead and write but we're not... We can write blog posts for our site but wri8ng for someone else's blog... Too much pressure for us! Click here to see OUR PERSONAL Writer! So make sure you've got accounts at all 10 of those. They are the most popular ones and the ones that will bring you the highest amount of traﬃc. Remember, we're not doing this for SEO purposes but for the traﬃc. It may (or may not) help with SEO naturally, but that's NOT what you want to focus on.
Day 18 Part 2: Submit Content
"Not more content!?" But don't worry, you don't even need to create any or write any... Because you've done it all already. Remember, you've already got content on your blog, you've got content for guest posts, and you've got a decent team of writers who can create content for you. So next... You want to get this content on these Doc Sharing sites. But ﬁrst, you need them in PDF format. So copy and paste your ar8cle in Word. Now you want to go through and add two links for every 500 words that links to your website. You then want to add a sentence at the end that promotes your squeeze page -‐-‐ "Grab your free guide on XXXXXX here" Then use this FREE TOOL to convert your Word document into a PDF and you're done! Once it is a PDF you can crack on with uploading to the document sharing sites and you're all done! Just repeat for any content you have now and any content you will have in the future. It's a really easy way of bringing in a few 100 uniques a month and many will convert so don't turn it away!
Day 19: More Youtube!
Yes that's right, 4 days a:er your ini8al 5 videos and you've got to do more! But it will bring in even more traﬃc. The aim here is dominate a few keywords within your niche on Youtube so you're geRng 90% of the traﬃc for that keyword on YOUR videos! You don't want anyone else to be sharing that traﬃc do you? So go back to the email from Day 15 a go through it all again if you've forgoZen and get ANOTHER 5 videos up. You should know what you're doing now and know what works for you so this shouldn't take too long.
How much more Youtube?
These traﬃc methods aren't about doing it once and then geRng traﬃc forever and ever. You need to keep working on them and that is why we're huge fans of outsourcing! No one wants to spend hours and hours working on these traﬃc methods when you could be working on a new project, wri8ng emails for your follow up series etc... But if you can't, then when it comes to Youtube, you want to be hiRng 5 to 10 videos each and every week. 100% of these videos WON'T get you traﬃc... But the ones that do will bring in some high conver8ng traﬃc that is perfect for building a list.
Day 20 Part 1: Create your Flyers
Just because you're in IM, doesn't mean you have to be spending all your 8me in front of the computer all day and all night long. Instead, let's do a bit of promo8on OFFLINE!
So ﬁrst up, you need to create your ﬂyers. If you're not one for being crea8ve, then check out the Free Flyer Maker! You don't want anything to ﬂashy, nothing with lots of text, and nothing too 'busy' -‐ Instead, the ﬂyer should have a couple of images related to your niche, you will then want to add a liZle bit of text about what people get for free, and ﬁnally a link to your site. I would also include a QR code. You can create one here for free! So get that all on your ﬂyers and then print them. Yes you could have them printed professionally but there really is no need, just use your home printer and print a load out. Done!
Day 20 Part 2: Distribute your Flyers
It's ;me to get out of the oﬃce/bedroom/kitchen/wherever and get some fresh air!! You NEED to use your imagina8on ﬁrst and before you go and distribute them you want to think about where you can ﬁnd your target audience. Confused? An Obvious Example: Car parks are one of the best places to target people en masse. So let's say your niche is Weight Loss (I know, saturated). So where would you ﬁnd lots of people interested in health and losing weight? The Gym! So you would get yourself down to the local gym and get ﬂyers under people's windscreen wipers. Not so Obvious Example: Again, looking at car parks but this 8me we will look at the niche of Cricket. This 8me you are looking for people with a passion in Cricket. So where will you ﬁnd people like this... Well cricket matches! Find out where all the cricket grounds are that are fairly local to you and ﬁnd out when matches are played then get down there with your leaﬂet. Now you might think this is annoying to the poten8al sign ups, but you will be pleasantly surprised with the number of visitors you get. A quick Rp for this is to shorten your URL when you put it on your ﬂyer and as a QR code. That way when you look at AnalyRcs (traﬃc stats) then you'll know exactly how many people came in from this method of traﬃc.
WARNING: This does involve an investment on your part! If you are happy to invest a liZle bit of money into building your list then this can be a really great way to build up your list. So ﬁrst up, you need to decide what your contest is going to win. You could buy a gadget, create a gi: box of products from your niche, a niche speciﬁc gi:... Anything that people WILL want. Now you need to understand how the contest works -‐-‐ It's simple! "Sign up to XXXXXX and grab for FREE XXXXXX during May and be in with a chance of winning XXXXXXX"
So basically, you are going to send a prize to a random subscribers during any given month. Of course, in the T&Cs you will want to specify that the subscriber must use real details and must be based in your country (because of postage costs). Like yesterday, you will want to create a ﬂyer as you did yesterday!

As you can see, preZy much any niche will have a business you can speak to. Now you have a few ways to play this: • Ask them to give one of these out to customers when they buy for free. • Oﬀer to promote their business in your email marke8ng campaign as sell it as a way of bringing in XXX customers to their store weekly and so on. • Pay them to put the ﬂyers on their checkouts It depends on the business, where you are, whether they have experience with this sort of thing and so on. The great thing is when people see FREE COMPETITION and a chance to the win something they are interested in then geRng them to subscribe is simple. Generally, visitors from these contests will subscribe 90% of the 8me. So give it a go!
Day 22 Part 1 -‐ Find Trade Shows
First you need to ﬁnd trade shows that happen in your area -‐-‐ Google it! It's not hard! In fact, you don't even need to ﬁnd ones in your local area but anywhere in the WORLD! Yes, that's right... WORLDWIDE! Just put "YOUR NICHE Trade Shows COUNTRY" into Google and then visit the homepage for that trade show. You now want to ﬁnd out when the next trade show is. If it soon then look at the people who are going to be at that trade show. Are there any businesses that would be complimented by your product? For example, do you promote a Going Green Product and you've found a business that creates Eco Friendly Products? Then it's a match made it heaven? Do this un8l you've got a list of 25-‐50 businesses that you can contact. You will need some form of contact details: Emails or phone numbers (phone numbers tend to work best as it is instant). You will also be pos8ng ﬂyers to them so in your own country is USUALLY beZer!
Day 22 Part 2 -‐ Promote at Trade Shows
Again, you will need ﬂyers for this. But you will want them to look quite professional and quite snazzy. This 8me, a liZle more informa8on would work well too! So what you want to do is contact the businesses you noted down and ask if they would be willing to have your ﬂyers on their stand at their up and coming trade show. You can oﬀer money, promo8on on your website/blog or ask them to do it out of the kindness of their heart. Every business is diﬀerent and we have come across people doing it completely free and us seeing a sudden 200 people join one list. These trade shows can prove VERY eﬀec8ve as it's basically a room or two FULL of poten8al subscribers! Give it a go, just don't be shy when it comes to ask businesses to do this for you!
Day 23 Part 1: Finding Ad Swapping Partners
AD SWAPS... One of THE most eﬀec;ve ways to put your list on steroids. But you do require a list in the ﬁrst place! So a:er the ﬁrst 22 days, you should have a list of AT LEAST 250 by now provided that you've set your squeeze page up correctly and what you are oﬀering is really worth it. So how do you ﬁnd Ad Swapping partners? GOOGLE of course! Go to Google and type in [YOUR NICHE] "Powered by Aweber" which will bring up a whole list of websites that build lists in your niche. Now you want to go through each of these sites and ﬁnd some contact details and save them in a spreadsheet with the site name, link, exact niche and their email. Simple!
Day 23 Part 2: Organising those Ad Swaps
Now you've got the poten8al partners, you need to get into contact with them and speak to them about doing a poten8al ad swap. Some people don't like to men8on email list sizes ini8ally but we do because why would anyone want to do an ad swap with you if you've got a list of 250 and they have a list of 25,000 -‐-‐ Not going to be worth it. So what should you send? Hi there, I've noticed that you currently are building a list on your website "SITE NAME HERE" - I too am building a list which provides subscribers with a free guide on "NICHE HERE." As a way of growing both your list, and my list, I would like to propose an ad swap where we promote one another's website to our own lists.
My current list size is XXX and I understand if your is greatly higher then you might not want to ad swap. However, if you are interested then just hit me up by replying to this email. Best wishes, YOUR NAME It really is this simple! You want to be sending an email to 50+ websites... Why? Because well... You'll soon discover that not that many will reply. You would be expec8ng 5% to reply. It may sound like a lot of work, but the ROI in terms of subscribers is HIGH! You might be spending a few hours emailing, but it can double, treble or even quadruple the size of your list just like that. One more word (or two): DO IT!
Day 24: Solo Ads...
Now solo ads are just a slightly diﬀerent ad swap... You're paying for someone else to send an email out about your website. GENERALLY speaking, I would pay only for a guaranteed number of clicks and would pay around $0.35 PER click. So to guarantee 100 clicks you would be looking to pay $35. Check out the email from yesterday, Day 23, and use those same methods to ﬁnd solo ads but instead of asking to swap ads, ask if they would be willing to send an email out for a fee. The whole process is the same except you won't be sending an email out.
Saving you Time, Energy and Eﬀort
You may or may not of heard of the Directory of Ezines (DOE) but it's men8oned within a lot of Internet Marke8ng forums and communi8es because well... A LOT of Gurus, Experts and Successful IMers rely on it... Heavily! Check it out here! Now I will admit... It's expensive but it's worth every single cent! It will tell you exactly who to contact, how much they charge and how large their list is... IN ANY NICHE! Finally, a service for list building that isn't orientated around IM (I'm fed up with the number of list building guides and courses that are focussed on IM). Day 25: More WriDng for the Follow Up Series
More wri8ng? Afraid so! You need to keep on top of your list, especially if a:er a few ad swaps and solo ads you're hiRng 1,000 subscribers. You need to keep your follow up series up-‐to-‐date, fresh and well... Making you money!
So day 25 and you need to write a further 10 follow up emails following the same random paZern to send them out. Remember that you can of course pay someone to write these emails for you such as 99 Cent Ar8cles! There's not a lot more to say in today's email except get on with it! It's a job that HAS TO BE done!
Day 26 Part 1: Finding those Ad Swap Partners... Again!
Another bit of Deja Vu in this course BUT I will explain it just incase you've forgoZen in the past few days how to ﬁnd ad swap partners. Remember it's simple: Go to Google and type in [YOUR NICHE] "Powered by Aweber" which will bring up a whole list of websites that build lists in your niche. That's it, get there details saved in a spreadsheet or Word if you like just so you can quickly send emails out with all their details in one place.
Day 26 Part 2: SorDng out these Quirky Ad Swaps
"Where's the twist? Where's the twist?" You know where on the previous ad swaps, you and your ad swap partner would send an email out and that's it, one 8me traﬃc... Well why not make this a constant stream of traﬃc... Why don't you include each other in your follow up series? If you're both geRng 25 new subscribers a day on average then that could mean a constant promo8on to 25 people a day... Nice right! So instead of the previous email we sent out, you would send this: Hi there, I see that on your website "SITE NAME" you are building a list. I have a proposal for you but it might not be quite what you're expecting. I would love to do an ad swap with you where we promote one another's websites via our lists HOWEVER instead of making this a one time thing, I would like to propose that we include each other's website in our follow up series. This would generate a constant flow of potential subscribers to each other's list. I current build my list here: SITE LINK and it currently has XXX subscribers. I have used this method in the past and it is proved incredibly effective and that is why I want to offer it to you today. Let me know if you're interested. Best wishes,
YOUR NAME Now that will o:en get less of a response (mainly because people hate the unknown) but when you get a response and you start to use this you'll realise how powerful it can be!
Day 27: PPC -‐ The Basics
There are $100, $250 and $1000 courses on PPC so I'm not going to even pretend to teach you everything there is to know about PPC in a few hundred words in an email. But this email is intended to plant the seed of PPC and how powerful it can be at building your list. If you were to set up a $100 PPC campaign on Adwords, I would expect 500 visitors from that, and I would expect at least 25% (125) to subscribe. Now would you be happy paying 80¢ per subscriber... I would! So what's the best way to do PPC, well Adwords! Now there are people who say that Bing is worth a look in, or go for a newer second level PPC network like 7Search... Unfortunately, I think Google Adwords is the best and will be for some 8me. It's really simple, just sign up at Adwords, set up your campaign and wait for it to get approved. You will need to spend some 8me learning the User Interface but once you have, it's fairly straight forward. I would seriously consider looking at this FREE Google resource HERE! Basically it's a school for Adwords. And if you're new to Adwords, then certainly a great way to learn the ins and outs of marke8ng on Adwords.
Doing PPC the EASY Way!

Let out a sigh of relief if you want... But remember, this is only the beginning. You may have spent 28 days learning how to build a list up from 0 to over 1,000 but that doesn't mean you can stop. You now need to analyse... Look at which traﬃc methods brought the most traﬃc to your squeeze page and then look at repea8ng those methods over and over and over and over... Un8l you're hiRng 100+ subscribers PER DAY, EVERY DAY!
Remember, you should s8ll be pos8ng on forums, upda8ng your blog, adding people on TwiZer and Facebook (unless you bought the recommended tools to save you 8me). You should also be adding to your follow up series, pos8ng on Yahoo answers, contac8ng more people for ad swaps and solo ads, contac8ng oﬄine businesses to promote your business and much much more... It's a mammoth task building a list... But enough of that... CONGRATULATIONS FOR ACTUALLY GETTING HERE! 28 days ago you started a list and 28 days later you should have anywhere from 500 subscribers up! "They" say you can usually get $1 per subscriber per month so you COULD now poten8ally be earning $500 per month or even more depending on the list you've managed to build up.
