Uptown telethon for hurricane victims--your help needed

A broad coalition of neighborhood leaders has come together to raise money for Hurricane Sandy victims in the hardest hit parts of our city--Staten Island, Rockaways, and Breezy Point. We will be running a special bilingual telethon tomorrow which will be broadcast around the city and overseas. We need volunteers to help run the event tomorrow, and of course we welcome contributions of any amount. Funds will be administered and disbursed by the Hispanic Federation, a respected city-wide 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Here are the details: TO CONTRIBUTE BY PHONE: You can call the telethon hotline to contribute by phone tomorrow (Sunday), from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
