6800+ Back Modules Troubleshooting note

About This Document

This document corrects information in the troubleshooting appendix of 6800+ Back Modules Installation and Operation Manuals. When troubleshooting software communication problems, you are instructed to check for bent pins. Follow this procedure: 1 2 3 4 Unplug the front module. Unscrew and remove the back module. Inspect the 20- or 30-pin spring connector at the bottom of the back module (Figure 1), and verify that the connector does not have any bent pins. Reposition any bent pins; If this is not possible, contact Customer Support.
