A series of flyers and articles from the Spring of 2008.
At that time, I was working on a whole arc in my own spiritual process ~ my own (lay) Ministry ~ going from President Obama's election & nomination (dovetailing with MLK's birthday ~ we had a huge event for that [close to 300 people]) that I planned and produced ~ to the Fifth Anniversary of the War in Iraq. Where we had 70+ people of all ages & demographics doing the (Sufi-based) Dances of Universal Peace at a UCW event (only 30% from our congregation). The seeds that were planted that Spring gave birth to an ongoing Faith Club Dialogue in Westport ~ for the first time bringing Muslims to the table consistently ~ that is still going strong today as a result. This separate-but-related group has helped bring new groups and congregations to the "parent" Interfaith Council as well.
