January 13, 2008 (name redacted) 455 Dirksen Office Bldg. Washington, D.C.

20510 (name redacted), I received a letter from Senator Lamar Alexander on January 10th in answer to a "Petition for Point of Order" letter that I sent to him. His response was that the allegations made that Barack Obama was not a natural-born citizen had been investigated, and it had been confirmed that Mr. Obama is indeed a natural-born citizen. I have since then contacted Senator Alexander's office, and was told that you are the individual that I would need to talk to if I had any further questions. I would appreciate it if you could help me answer the following questions: 1) Who performed the investigation that Senator Alexander refers to in his letter? I was told by someone in his office that it was "the FBI", but I'm hoping for an individual's name, if possible. 2) When did the investigation take place? 3) What evidence was provided by the candidate to the investigating authorities that allowed a determination of eligibility to be made? 4) Will the public be allowed to review that evidence as well? Thank you very much for your time and attention to this matter. I hope that it isn't too much to ask that you please respond, in writing, by no later than the 23rd of January, 2009. Sincerely Yours,

(name redacted)
