“Post it to Win it” The Designing Your Life Contest with Designer Nikki


Here‟s what you need to do WIN: 1) Like my Facebook page at facebook.com/RealNikkiChu and follow me on Pinterest at Pinterest.com/RealNikkiChu and Twitter @lovenikkichu 2) Post a photo on my Facebook Fanpage of the most inspiring designed space in your home (i.e. living room, accessorized console table, bedroom, kitchen nook) and “TAG” my page in your photo. 3) Spread the word and get your friends to “like” my page and most importantly YOUR photo and then share, share, share…. 4) The contest ends November 29th and I will announce the winner on November 30th based on the photo that receives the most number of combined “likes” and “shares” For full contest details see the “CONTEST RULES” tab above.
1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION AND PERIOD: The Nikki Chu Design „Post it & Win it‟ Estate 22 Contest (the “Contest”) starts 11/14/12 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) and ends 11/28/12 at 12:00 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). The „Post it to Win it‟ Designing Your Life Contest is a contest where participants post a picture of an inspiring designed space in their home to the www.NikkiChu.com Facebook Fanpage. Participants must first like www.NikkiChu.com on the Facebook page and then tag the www.NikkiChu.com Facebook page in their photo. The picture posted that receives the most combined likes and shares will be chosen as the winner. Participants chances of winning are increased if their friends also “like” the fanpage and photo. Nikki Chu will announce the winner on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest on 11/29/12. The winner will be contacted via Facebook message and through Pinterest and on Twitter. 2. ELIGIBILITY: CONTEST OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR AGE OF MAJORITY IN HIS/HER STATE OF RESIDENCE AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY AND NO ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT OR PROOF-OF-PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE. „Like‟ Www.NikkiChu.com (facbook.com/realnikkichu) on Facebook and follow “Real Nikki Chu” on Pinterest and “@LoveNikkiChu” on twitter. Post a photo of an inspiring designed space in your home and tag “www.NikkiChu.com” in the photo by 11/28/12 at 12:00 PM ET for the chance to win an Estate 22 Vintage Silk Decorative Pillow. Any information collected from the Contest shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by the entrants at the time of entry. NOTE: By entering, all entrants understand and agree that all Eligible Entries will be posted on the internet (and other media as designated by the Sponsor in its sole discretion) for public view on the Contest Site. Further, by entering, all entrants agree to give Sponsor permission to use his/her name and likeness in accordance with Section 7 below. Limit one (1) entry per person. Any individual who attempts to enter, or in the sole discretion of Sponsor is suspected of entering more than once or submits entries in excess of the disclosed maximum of (2) photos, by any means, including but not limited to establishing multiple Facebook accounts, will be disqualified from participation in this Contest. 4. DETERMINING POTENTIAL WINNERS: One (1) winner total will be chosen to receive an Estate 22 Vintage Silk Pillow designed by Nikki Chu. A Winner will be selected on November 30, 2012, from among all eligible entries received by 12:00 PM (EST) November 29, 2012. The winner will be selected by the most amount of “likes” received on their photo. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning each Prize Package depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. 5. POTENTIAL WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential Prize Winners will be notified by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Sponsor will attempt to notify each potential Prize Winner on or about the dates noted in Section 1 using their Facebook name through Facebook message and Twitter Direct Message. Potential Prize Winners are subject to eligibility verification and compliance with these Official Rules. If any required information is not returned within the number of days specified in the notification correspondence, or if any notification is returned as undeliverable, then the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Prize Winner will be selected at the Sponsor‟s sole discretion. Designation as a Prize Winner is subject to entrant‟s proof of compliance with these Official Rules, maintaining compliance with these Official Rules, and approval by Sponsor. The decisions of the Promotion Parties are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest, including interpretation and application of these Official Rules. 6. PRIZES: The prize shall be one (1) Estate 22 Vintage Pillow. Prizes are nontransferable. No prize substitutions allowed. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes may not be sold, bartered, or exchanged by winners. All details of any prize not specified herein shall be determined solely by Sponsor. By accepting a prize, the winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules. All federal, state, or other tax liabilities arising from this Contest are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Limit of one prize per person/household. All other expenses relating to acceptance of a prize, including but not limited to taxes and any other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winner. Prize conditions may be added or modified by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designees to use winners‟ names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. 7. CONDUCT: By entering into this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. These Official Rules are accessible from http://www.facebook.com/RealNikkiChu throughout the Contest Period. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Entries must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene, hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libelous, and must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations where entry was submitted. Sponsor reserves the right to review and/or disqualify any and all elements deemed by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise unacceptable. By participating, each entrant irrevocably grants Sponsor and its agents an unlimited, worldwide, perpetual, license and right to publish, use, publicly display the entry in any way, in any and all media (including but not limited to the Contest Site), without limitation, and without consideration to the entrant, including having his/her winning entry, name, and/or location included in Nikki Chu website materials or other marketing material. Entrant must be able to provide legal releases authorizing use of the entry in Sponsor's, and Sponsor's designees', advertising, marketing, and promotions in any and all media in perpetuity, without additional compensation, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law. Failure to provide such releases upon request will result in disqualification. By entering, you hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Promotion Parties from any claims and damages (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from, or relating to, the breach or alleged breach of your representations and warranties herein, your entry, or your conduct in creating your entry or otherwise in connection with this Contest. This Contest is subject to the laws of the United States. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Promotion Parties assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Contest; (c)

any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Contest; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet or any combination thereof; or (e) any injury or damage to the entrant‟s or to any other person‟s computer which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the Contest or download any materials from the Contest. If, for any reason, the Contest is not able to run through completion for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, then the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, without further liability to the entrants or third parties. 9. RELEASES: All entrants, as a condition of entry into the Contest, agree to release Nikki Chu Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, suppliers, printers, application developers, advertisers, promotional or judging agencies, from and against any and all liability, loss, claims, demands or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with: (a) accessing the Contest page; (b) submitting an entry or otherwise participating in any aspect of the Contest; (c) the receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded; (d) travelling to/from any Contest-related activity; or (e) any typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement of the offering of the prize. 10.
