Day 11: Ruth Ruth 1:1-2:3 Ornament: Earth

Bible Story: Ruth 1:1-2:3 Read and Share Bible pgs: 176-181 Discuss how: Ruth showed kindness to Naomi, Boaz showed kindness to Ruth, but ultimately God showed kindness to everyone through Jesus. Hide it in your Heart: Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. (Ruth 1:16) Let us not become weary in doing good. (Galatians 6:9) Make note cards, print out, write on chalk board or say aloud Snack Idea: Make homemade bread or rolls, or cook some pre-made ones to enjoy while you read the Bible Activities: Family Necklace Give each child a piece of string for their necklace. Lay out the beading materials on the table. Have the child choose a bead or noodle for each person in their family. Have them thread the object onto their necklace. When they are finished threading, have them bring their necklace to you or a helper to tie.
