Check the beater settings and correct them if needed. KCT.Senthil Kumar. The blending bale openers should work for 80 to 85% of the time of working of the final machine. Increase the space between the grid bars.Low Cleaning Efficiency • Lower Cleaning Efficiency means lower extraction of wastes than required for that mixing considering the trash content is one of the main reasons for low cleaning efficiency.co. Therefore check for the grip. we get lower cleaning. Close slightly the air-inlets under the grid bars towards the cotton entry side. and open those on the delivery side. we shall get low cleaning efficiency. If the grip of the feed roller is less. If the beater speeds are lesser than required. Check the synchronization of the machine working.in. Coimbatore 7 • • • • .. Also check the sharpness of the beaters. R. Reduce the fan speed following the beaters by 100 to 200 RPM. Increase the wastes if the lint in the wastes is normal or nil. sen29iit@yahoo.
stripper knife etc. R. • A higher beater speed shall give more neps. lower fan speed and excessive feed.. hence check the setting of leather flaps. and cottons with more immature fibres are major reasons for neps in opened material. Coimbatore 8 .High nep generation and fibre rupture • The main reasons are blunt beaters. sen29iit@yahoo. bent pins on beaters. KCT. • If materials return back to beaters.in. • Excessive of soft wastes fed. burrs in grid bars.
