Oftentimes, you have to take the road less traveled to get away from your past.

Whether it be 200 miles or a few miles, it's your best change of making a new name for you and forgetting your past.

Wait up, Don't leave me standing, The question pending: Will you take my hand, guide me to a new town?

We don't have to cross the borders, Fly across the Atlantic. We can drive miles Enough to get by Enough to the point The people around don't drive me frantic. I've been past the flames living here. Been hurt, got caught playing games Figured out quickly it wasn't the route to go. I used to take refuge in the shadows, Now I want out. take me to the meadows. I want to leave my past behind, All the lies, Complications, Made it seem I was dying inside. I got sick, I got tired; Causing harm to others Just to make myself feel slightly better? Let's be honest: I was miserable I chose to open up You took me under your wing. Admittedly, you're the one Who has completely forgiven me. I'm paving a new road to walk down the lines, After I've finished making my way, I reassure myself I have transformed, I've changed because of your ever-changing influence on my life. I'm no longer morose. I'm fine.
