Reflection for Research Paper Nhien Le Miss Bright English 1102 9 December 2012 What I did: I wrote my research

paper with music marketing in mind and the general path that most artists and bands need to take to become successful. How I did it: I labored until two or three in the morning on the paper in my boxers on the couch in my dorm room. While writing I took many sleep breaks with hope of inspiring new ideas. Why I did it: I was forced to stay up late to work on my research paper because I had procrastinated more than I had intended to. The area I worked in was ideal because my roommate had fallen asleep and I dared not disturb him; as for the sleep breaks I became drowsy from time to time and did not want to doze off. What I wanted to do: My first desire was to sleep, but I knew I had to complete my paper. In my paper I had hoped to give a general map of the blueprint that is commonly used by musicians to market their music and image. This vision was shortsighted and foolish; I ended up accomplishing my goal, but lost my earlier original vision of educating my peers on my topic and interesting them in music.
