Do you have a deaf child?

Would you like to meet other parents of deaf children from your own community? Would you like to share your experiences with other families in your area? Would you or someone you know like some information and support in your own language?

Then get in touch with us!

If you or someone you know would like: • support from a volunteer or • to be put in touch with other parents in the area or someone who can speak the same language Please contact our Freephone Helpline on 0808 800 8880 (voice and text) or email: bmevolunteers@ndcs.org.uk.
When calling the helpline, if you prefer to speak a language other than English, tell us the language of your choice and your phone number (in English). We will call you back with an interpreter within a few minutes. NDCS uses the word ‘deaf’ to refer to all levels of hearing loss. However, we understand that some people may prefer to use other terms.
This initiative is part of the Positive Families, Stronger Communities Project, funded by The National Lottery through Big Lottery Fund. The National Deaf Children’s Society is a registered charity in England and Wales (1016532) and in Scotland (SC040779). JR0130
