1. Look at these sentences about J.K. Rowling. Which tenses are they? She lived in Portugal for three years. She has lived in Scotland since 1993. She studied in university for four years. She has lived with her husband for 11 years Which of these talk about an action that is finished? Which talk about an action that began in the past and still continues in the present? 2. Look at these sentences. Which tense are they? Is a definite finished time period given? J.K. Rowling has worked as an English teacher. She has never been to Odessa. She has been divorced.
