The hunt for Snake Eyes is over! Cobra’s assault on the Arashikage’s jungle sanctuary failed to eliminate the ninja clan: Serpentor’s forces were beaten back and the Soft Master, traitor to the clan, has been blinded by his former student, Tomo. In the aftermath of the battle, G.I. Joe find Snake Eyes and Helix, wounded but alive in the ruins of the jungle temple. Transported back to G.I. Joe’s base in the Philadelphia Naval Yard, Snake Eyes recovers from his many hard battles as Scarlett stands at attention over his bedside. But Snake Eyes is not in the clear yet. Among the aging machinery of the dry dock, Storm Shadow stands ready for one final strike…
