Dear Family and Friends, What a special time of year it is when we stop our normal activities and focus

our minds on past friendships and family memories. It is a time to renew and catch up on what is going on in our lives. Roger and I have been busy in mission work: Roger is starting GED Centers throughout South Carolina where almost 750,000 people lack this basic tool and thus are unemployed or under employed. He and his team of volunteers have helped over 200 people earn a GED in the past year. Most of the graduated have gone on to jobs, military and higher education. I continue to volunteer as the director of Christ Central mission station in Aiken and Graniteville. This is an outreach to needy families by inviting volunteers to help through food, clothing, prayer, education and job skills. We are working on a building that was devastated by a chlorine spill in 2005 that not only destroyed this building, but the textile industry in this small mill town. This building will bring culinary job training to Graniteville to create jobs and prepare people for those jobs. Please visit to watch a short video that will tell the story; I hope that you will invest the ten minutes of time it takes to watch it. On April 20, 2013, Roger and I will celebrate our 50th anniversary. We are inviting family and friends to join us for a dinner (information will follow.) Roger and I feel so strongly about this project that we are planning to match donation up to $25,000. Our goal is to turn $25,000 into $50,000 by our anniversary and we are asking you to prayerfully consider making a tax deductible donations of any amount to Christ Central Ministries Inc. Please take a few minutes to review the enclosed material. May God bless you with a Merry Christmas and the best of New Year’s. Roger and Judy Floyd
