Capitol Schedule of Events 7:00 a.m. - Line for Chamber Galleries will form 9:30 a.m. - Overflow viewing rooms (Extension Auditorium E1.004 and Committee Rooms E2.010, E2.012, E2.014 and E2.016 will open 10:30 a.m. - Chamber Gallery will open, but will close when full 12:00 pm - Opening Day Ceremony begins - Live streaming will also begin

Texas HOPE agenda of events 9:00-11:00 a.m. – House and Senate office visits to advocate on Latino issues; present state representative’s and senator’s offices with a copy of the HOPE Legislative agenda. Please be sure to sign into the office record. 11:00-12:00 p.m. – Lunch on your own; cafeteria is at E1 (extension/1st fl.)

12:00 p.m. – Assemble on South steps of Capitol and speakers check in with Cynthia Valadez-Mata Jr. 512-762-3959
12:30-4:00 p.m. – Speeches from various Latino community leaders on South steps of the Capitol.
