Envisioned as a model of sustainable and energy efficient design, this addition to the Choate School strives for Net Zero resource consumption and engages many strategies that allow it to achieve this. DETAILS

In keeping with the school's mission, Atelier Ten conducted analyses and engaged in discussions regarding opportunities for natural ventilation, daylighting, and lighting performance, and assembly optimization. The design takes advantage of passive design strategies and free energy, such as solar radiation.
