INTRO and MISSAL DISTRO - CIRCLE CASTING Battery: 3-3-3-3 / QC Circumambulate deosil, and say: And when, after

all the phantoms have vanished, thou shalt see that holy and formless fire, that fire which darts and flashes through the hidden depths of the Universe, hear thou the Voice of Fire. East, Pater et mater est unus deus, Ararita. Draw sigil of Leo. I invoke ye, Regulus, thou heart of the lion. Hail and welcome, blessed be. (Get everyone to repeat this.) So therefore first, the priest who governeth the works of fire must sprinkle with the lustral water of the loud resounding sea. North, Filia et pater est unus deus, Ararita. Draw sigil of Scorpio. I invoke ye, Antares, thou heart of the serpent. Hail and welcome, blessed be. Such a fire existeth, extending through the rushing of Air. Or even a fire formless, whence cometh the image of a voice. Or even a flashing light, abounding, revolving, whirling forth, crying aloud. West, filius et filia est unus deus. Ararita. Draw sigil of Aquarius. I invoke ye, Fomalhaut, thou footprint of the Lovely Star. Hail and welcome, blessed be. Stoop not down into that darkly splendid world wherein continually lieth a faithless depth and Hades wrapped in gloom, a black ever-rolling abyss, ever espousing a body unluminous, formless and void.

South: mater et filius est unus deus. Ararita. Draw sigil of Taurus. I invoke ye, Aldebaran, thou bull of heaven. Hail and welcome, blessed be. Fire Altar Assistant: I seal this rite with the Sevenfold Name: Hoor Paar Kraat. Ra Hoor Khuit. Heru Pa Kraath. Ra Hoor Khu. Ra Hoor Khut. Heru Ra Ha. Hoor Pa Kraat. I seal above with Yud Heh Vav. I seal below with Yud Vav Heh. I seal before me with Heh Yud Vav. I seal behind me with Heh Vav Yud. I seal to my right with Vav Yud Heh. I seal to my left with Vav Heh Yud. Bell: 2-4-2-4 Grounding Meditation. Visualize yourself adrift within a warm sea. You are deep beneath the waves, and they envelop you like a cocoon. You feel yourself floating upward, and upward. The water is warm, and you are swimming within it. It begins to move quickly, as if a breeze had ruffled the surface. You become aware of the surface, and suddenly you break through the surface and see the sky. The sky is dark, and filled from corner to corner with stars, planets, meteors, whirling galaxies. It is dizzying. As you float in the water your feet suddenly touch land it is the shore of a tiny island covered in grass, and you can see clear to the edge of it. You pull yourself up onto dry land, lay back, and watch the night sky, the body of Nuit. You feel drawn into the sky, and you see a constellation it could be your astrological sign, it could be any other planet or star. And

you gaze upon it, you adore it unceasingly, you spin and leap and inflame yourself in the adoration, until all that you see is that single star, the focus, the Khabs. Now, as you feel yourself coming back to the room, you still see that image of the stars spinning around you. For that is what they do. Now, open your eyes and be here now. Let us chant: Abrahadabrahadabra etc. Work of the Ritual A NOTE UPON LIBER 963 1. Let the student recite this book unto his Star as it ariseth. 2. Let him seek out diligently in the sky his Star; let him travel thereunto in his Shell; let him adore it unceasingly by the right adorations. 3. Let him spin around his own axis in adoration; let him leap up and down in adoration. 4. Let him inflame himself in the adoration, until he can no more. 5. This also shall be sung in open places, as heaths, mountains, woods, and upon islands. 6. Moreover, ye shall build you fortified places: caverns and tombs shall be made glad with your praise. 7. Amen. Celebrant: I adore thee by the Twelvefold Image and by the Unity thereof. (Begins to say, accompanied by light percussion from an audience member. It changes to recit and more singing-ish later on.) O Thou snow-clad volcan of scarlet fire, Thou flamecrested pillar of fury! Yea, as I approach Thee, Thou departest from me like unto a wisp of smoke blown forth from the window of my house.

All: I invoke thee, Evoe! I invoke thee IAO! O my God, Thou mighty One, Thou Creator of all things, I renounce unto Thee the kisses of my mistress, and the murmur of her mouth, so that I may be rolled a flame in Thy fiery embrace, and be consumed in the unutterable joy of Thine everlasting rapture. O Thou Consuming Eye of everlasting light set as a pearl betwixt the lids of Night and Day; I swear to Thee by the formless void of the Abyss, to lap the galaxies of night in darkness, and blow the meteors like bubbles into the frothing jaws of the sun. O Thou Sovran Warrior of steel-girt valour, whose scimitar is a flame between day and night, whose helm is crested with the wings of the Abyss. I know Thee! O Thou four-eyed guardian of heaven, who kindleth to a flame the hearts of the downcast, and girdeth about with fire the loins of the unarmed. O Glory be to Thee, O God my God; for I behold Thee in the Lion Rampant of the dawn: Thou hast crushed with Thy paw the crouching lioness of Night, so that she may roar forth the Glory of Thy Name. O Thou mighty God, make me as a fair virgin that is clad in the blue-bells of the fragrant hillside; I beseech Thee, O Thou great God! That I may ring out the melody of Thy voice, and be clothed in the pure light of Thy loveliness: O Thou God my God! O Thou green-cloaked Maenad in labour, who bearest beneath Thy leaden girdle the vintage of Thy kisses; release me from the darkness of Thy womb, so that I may cast off my infant wrappings and leap forth as an armed warrior in steel.

O Thou God of the Nothingness of All Things! Thou who art neither the Formless breath of Chaos; nor the exhaler of the ordered spheres: O Thou who art not the cloud-cradled star of the morning; nor the sun, drunken upon the mist, who blindeth men! I deny Thee by the powers of mine understanding; Guide me in the unity of Thy might, and lead me to the fatherhood of Thine all-pervading Nothingness; for Thou art all and none of these in the fullness of Thy Not-Being. Ah! but I rejoice in Thee, O Thou my God; Thou seven-rayed rainbow of perfect loveliness; Thou light-rolling chariot of sunbeams; Thou fragrant scent of the passing storm: Yea, I rejoice in Thee, Thou breath of the slumbering valleys; O Thou lowmurmuring ripple of the ripe cornfields! I rejoice, yea, I shout with gladness! till, as the mingling blushes of day and night, my song weaveth the joys of life into a gold and purple Crown, for the Glory and Splendour of Thy Name. O my God, behold me fully and be merciful unto me, as I humble myself before Thee; for all my searching is as a bat that seeks some hollow of night upon a sun-parched wilderness. O woe unto me, my God, woe unto me; for all my song is as the dirge of the sea that moans about a corpse, lapping most mournfully against the dead shore in the darkness. Yet in the sob of the wind do I hear Thy name, that quickeneth the cold lips of death to life. O what art Thou, O God my God, Thou snow-browed storm that art whirled up in clouds of flame? O Thou red sword of the thunder! Thou great blue river of ever-flowing Brightness, over whose breasts creep the star-bannered vessels of night! O how can I

plunge within Thine inscrutable depths, and yet with open eye be lost in the pearly foam of Thine Oblivion? O Thou Unity of all things: as the sun that rolleth through the twelve mansions of the skies, so art Thou, O God my God. I cannot slay Thee, for Thou art everywhere; lo! though I lick up the Boundless Light, the Boundless, and the Not, there still shall I find Thee, Thou Unity of Unities, Thou Oneness, O Thou perfect Nothingness of Bliss! As this is read, Altar Assistant takes each audience member and has them grab a rune from the bowl. Primary meditation You are on the island, in the middle of the ocean, and you see a silver gate decorated with the twelve stars, shimmering in the middle so that only stars are visible beyond. Think about the meaning of the oracle that you have received. Step into the gate, and you find yourself in an ancient temple, wrought of diamond and the palest silver and gold. Here, the greatest mysteries are revealed. Here, you will find anything you need. Remember that you can always come back whenever you need anything. There is a bubbling stream of light dividing your side of the temple from the Holy of Holies. It is the milk-white galaxy, the stream of stars. You see Raziel, the manifestation of Will, with a chalice in hand. He dips it in the stream, and hands it to you. All the answers you seek are in this chalice, and you drink deeply. Do you have any questions? What does Raziel say to you?

Now, where Raziel once stood, stands a mirror framed in white gold, and mother of pearl. It is the height of a man, but the glass within is dark and smoky. Look into it. What do you see? What images can you make out? If you feel comfortable, walk through the mirror. If you do not, walk back through the door of the temple. Raziel will always be here. And a part of you will be, too. You are back on the island, and you see another door, seemingly made of wood. You walk through it, and you are back again in the darkness of your minds eye. Hear the sounds around you, feel the ground beneath your feet. When you are ready, open your eyes and be here now. After this, the Great Rite is performed with chalice and wand, with the statement : Form and force. Infinite sky and inward flame. Together, we are creation incarnate. And the Rose Cross was formulated in the Universe that as yet was not. (Cakes and ale.) Circle Decasting All rise. Then in the might of the Lion did I formulate unto myself that holy and formless fire, Qadosh, which darteth and flasheth through the depths of the Universe. 1. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh the earth melted into a liquor clear as water.

Draws banishing hexagram in South. Aldebaran. Hail and farewell, blessed be. 2. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh the water smoked into a lucid air. Draws banishing hexagram in the North. Antares. Hail and farewell, blessed be. 3. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh the air ignited, and became Fire. Draws banishing hexagram in the West. Fomalhaut. Hail and farewell, blessed be. 4. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh, O Lord, the Fire dissipated into Space. Draws banishing hexagram in the East. Regulus. Hail and farewell, blessed be. 5. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh, O Lord, the Space resolved itself into a Profundity of Mind. 6. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh the Mind of the Father was broken up into the brilliance of our Lord the Sun. 7. At the touch of the Fire Qadosh the Brilliance of our Lord was absorbed in the Naught of our Lady of the Body of the Milk of the Stars. 8. Then only was the Fire Qadosh extinguished, when the Enterer was driven back from the threshold, 9. And the Lord of Silence was established upon the Lotus flower. 10. Then was accomplished all that which was to be accomplished. 11. And All and One and Naught were slain in the slaying of the Warrior 418, 12. In the slaying of the subtlety that expanded all these things into the Twelve Rays of the Crown, 13. That returned unto One, and beyond One, even unto the vision

of the Fool in his folly that chanted the word ARARITA, and beyond the Word and the Fool; yea, beyond the Word and the Fool. Bell. 3-3-3-3. So mote it be. Break, and eat food.
