Due to this company is involved in lot of patent litigations The government of India is in negotiations with European union to formulate a free trade agreement which in a way could change its current stance on all issues pertaining to patent system, monopoly and compulsory licensing Since Cipla works on the strategy of reverse engineering for producing drugs and therefore it faces problem from the change in laws
