1 February 2013

Dear Sir/ Madam

WHAT MAKES LONDON BRIDGE & BERMONDSEY SPECIAL?

You tell us!

Southwark Council is preparing a character study for the area in and around London Bridge and Bermondsey. This study will help us to understand the areas history and development over time and the unique and distinctive buildings, spaces and places that we see around us today. By having a good understanding of the features and qualities that make this area special, we can be better informed when producing planning guidance for new development so that we can sustain and enhance this local character and distinctiveness.

We would like to hear your views on the features and qualities that are important in London Bridge and Bermondsey. Come along with photos of your street, a favourite view or of any buildings, features and spaces that are meaningful for you!
We would like to invite you to a workshop event where there will be an opportunity to talk about your views and help inform the study. Join us on:
