Are you ready for a fascinating look into the world of Polynesian voyaging traditions?

Kaʻiulani Murphy, HCC Hawaiian Studies instructor and Polynesian Voyaging Society captain will take ʻIKE scholars and staff on a tour of the Marine Educational Training Center. ‘IKE scholars will learn about the art of non-instrument navigation and tour two voyaging wa’a, Hōkūleʻa and Hikianalia, and learn about the upcoming world wide voyage. We’ll end the day sailing on HCC’s Kameuheheu double hull canoe. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled day.
