2013 HAP search and nominations are on

The Civil Service Commission has formally announced the 2013 Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees through Memorandum Circular No. 18, s. 2012. The annual search for public service exemplars, which is administered by the Honor Awards Program (HAP) Secretariat, form part of CSCs advocacy of promoting a culture of excellence and of recognizing and rewarding women and men for outstanding work performance, contribution and superior accomplishments or for consistent manifestation of exemplary ethical behavior in public service. HAP nomination forms and information on documentary requirements may be secured at CSC-RO1, Quezon Avenue, San Fernando City, La Union or at any of its Field Offices in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte; Bantay, Ilocos Sur; San Fernando City, La Union; Lingayen, Pangasinan; and Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. Electronic copies of HAP nomination forms and other informational materials may also be downloaded: 2013 HAP Guidelines; Nomination Form 1 (Presidential Lingkod Bayan and Pagasa) Front; Nomination Form 1 (Presidential Lingkod Bayan and Pagasa) Back; Nomination Form 1-A (Presidential Lingkod Bayan and Pagasa) Additional Form for Group/Team; Nomination Form 2 (Dangal ng Bayan) Front; Nomination Form 2 (Dangal ng Bayan) Back; Accomplished nomination forms and documents may be submitted directly to the HAP Secretariat, Public Assistance and Information Office, Civil Service Commission, Constitution Hills, Diliman, Quezon City on or before March 29, 2013. However, to ensure the completeness and correctness of submitted documents, nominations may be submitted to the CSC-Regional Office 1 for review on or before March 20, 2013. Public officials and employees, as well as non-government organizations, are enjoined to actively participate in the said search by submitting nominations of deserving civil servants. Further, heads of government offices are requested to post a HAP tarpaulin within their office premises with suggested size of 4x7 feet (electronic copy of which may be downloaded).
