Black Neon Tetra
The black neon tetra is a freshwater tropical fish native to the Paraguay basin of southern Brazil. Black neon tetras feature a black lower body below a iridescent silvery-white stripe, the eye has two thin but distinctive color bands, red at the top yellow at the bottom. Black neon tetra grow to a similar size as the neon tetra around 1.5in/4cm. Black neon tetras should not be confused with the "Black Tetra" as this is a completely different fish.

Green Neon Tetra
The green neon tetra is another relation of the neon tetra, native to the upper Orinoco and Negro Rivers in South America. Green neon tetra are a smaller fish than the neon tetra reaching around 2cm in length. With a slimmer body than the neon tetra the green neon features less red on its lower body and a more pronounced green coloring above its iridescent white stripe.
