    Housing segments consist of stainless steel material All bottom rolls are fixed steel construction and rotates on flange type sealed bearings Two adjacent bottom rollers support a rubber covered roller and forms a pool of liquor for better impregnation Rotary drum filter with circulation pump system with level management automation for caustic level .

     Indirect heating for caustic outside the tank (optional) for hot mercerization Complete impregnation is divided into number of section as per production requirement Caustic spray pipes between two rubber rollers High efficiency squeezer at outlet Very low contact free fabric flow which provides very low width shrinkage .

  The lye recuperator consists of a stainless steel chamber sub divided into compartments as per process requirement All top & bottom guiding rollers in high quality execution with a high concentricity 7 .

    Perforated steam pipes are provided which allow steam to be blown into the space between the cloth passage and thereby providing a sufficient removal of caustic with steam inlet control valve An arrangement is provided for feeding fresh water wherever necessary Large size doors are provided on each side Possibilities of usage of washed water from subsequent washers 8 .

      Flex-nip for add-on of caustic. Intensive tentering of fabric Diffusion compartment for swelling of cotton fabric with grooved stainless steel rollers. Counter current washing and pH control Specially designed recuperator 10 . Length / width stretching zone for stretching fabric length and width wise.

Process involves the treatment of cotton fabrics with caustic soda having a concentration of 215-255gm/kg under maximum tension. 11 . The process results in swelling of cotton fibres which is mercerizing.    Mercersing is a very important preparatory process for cotton fabric. It is done at room temperature and the reaction time is between 40 to 60 secs.

 The objective is to achieve a high degree of mercerising thereby improving 1] Lustre 2] Tensile strength 3] Dye update 4] Dimension stability of cotton fabric. 12 .

     Low shrinkage High lustre Low residual caustic retention Less requirement of washing High recovery of caustic 13 .
