Wisdom. Honor. Excellence.

Our Mission
Piedmont Preparatory School combines the proud traditions of Atlantas most respected college-preparatory school with an innovative, challenging and well-rounded educational experience.

Why choose Piedmont?

At Piedmont, we do more than prepare students for college. We prepare them for a life of success. We equip them to lead extraordinary lives by giving them every opportunity and means of support to help them aspire, achieve and succeed. We create daily experiences that connect them not only to one another, but to charismatic adults who bring out the best in each of them. Piedmonts athletic program is an integral part of school life and includes a wide range of sports. All students who are physically able are encouraged to participate in some form of activity. Students are motivated and work hard to represent the school on teams in interscholastic competition.

Piedmont Students
Piedmont is a school where the teachers really care about the students. They know each student well because classes are small and there is more one-on-one time. I am prepared for college after being a Piedmont student for 12 years. Anna, 12th grade When it comes to extracurricular clubs and activities, the sky is the limit at Piedmont. There are academic clubs, athletic teams, fine arts groups and other organizations for each students interest. Brian, 8th grade

In a broadly diverse and caring community, Piedmont embraces the uniqueness of each individual. Guided by our core values of Wisdom, Honor and Excellence, we champion student success and encourage community involvement to give students an enriched and well-rounded educational experience.

Piedmont helps students develop an appreciation for the fine arts at an early age to help increasing our students motivation and achievement across the curriculum. In addition to encouraging higher-order thinking skills, promoting creativity, enhancing fine motor development and sharpening observation skills, our visual and performing arts programs are high quality and fun.
