The people of Mexico are very class conscious. The upper class will not dirty their hands with stuff they find beneath them. Men have a macho attitude since birth.

The people of Spain highly value personal pride and individualism. Showing off intelligence, superiority, and ability is not appreciated. Personal appearance, image, and human relationships are very important to the people Spain.
