SEQUENTIAL CIRCUIT The behavior of a sequential circuit is determined from the inputs, outputs, and the state of its

flip-flops. The outputs and the next states are both a function of the inputs and the present state. The analysis of s sequential circuit consists of obtaining a state table or state diagram for the time sequence of inputs, outputs and internal states. Q (t+1) = Next State Qt = Present State Sequential Diagram:

DA (t+1) DA = AtX + BtX = (At + Bt) X = (A + B) X DB (t+1) DB = = AtX AX = (A + B) X
