Town Board Moments
1. Citizen Concerns – a. Legislator Allen Drake reported that there will be no funding available this year for replacing the Coolidge Road Bridge. B. The new 2013 contract for the Indian River Ambulance Service for signing. C. New zoning officer reported receiving a few phone calls so far. 2. Communications- a. Received renewal for Towns insurance with a 7.9% increase. A brief discussion followed and motion was made and carried to accept renewal. B. Town of Rossie sent resolution to town of Antwerp to delete a parcel of road on the County Line road from their road inventory to be added to the Town of Antwerp’s road inventory. Motion was made and carried. 3. Mr. Shaw reported that the Code of Ethics and the new Fire Contract would be gone over and discussed with the lawyer. To be done for approval by the Town Board next month. 4. Motion was made and carried for appointing Mr. Steve Booth to fill the vacant position on the Town Board.

Next Town Board meeting will be on March 11th , 2013 @ Town Hall @ 7PM. Village Board Moments – 1.Citizen Concerns – a. Legislator Drake stated the County still has $300,000 worth of road work they will be doing this year on Main Street. b. Resident suggested the Village look into the installation of a ceiling fan in the Village Office as a way to save money and keep the office warmer. C. Fire Chief Sands stated that they have been working on the skating rink but the weather isn’t cooperating. 2. DPW – Supt. Pitts stated the RBC is still running although it is on its last leg. 3. Sewer Report.- The Village submitted an application to the NYS Regional Economic Development committee for a $250,000 grant for the project. 4.
