Wowzers what a week!

Another fabulous week in school. It has been engage week for everyone and wow has it been a good one. We have been here, there and everywhere and everyone has represented us fabulously well. I hope everyone is enjoying their topics and spending lots of time discussing them.

Class Assemblies
We begin another run of Class Assemblies from next week. I look forward to seeing learning in action. 8.3.13 Class 4W 15.3.13 Class 4S 22.3.13 Class 4D

Residential
We are just over a week away from the nal residential of the year. With this in mind we are already planning what we are doing next year. Therefore, next Friday 8th March at 3:00 pm we are inviting the current Year 5 parents into school to introduce you to the Year 6 residential that will take place in September.

World Book Day Allocation Day

Today is an important day for the Year 6 as they nd out which school they have been allocated for next year. I hope you all are happy with your allocations. The countdown to transition starts now. is next week on the 7th March. We are sending out a yer about what is happening in school. Rest easy it does not involve dressing up

Mykey Pryce
Both Dodgeball and Football start after school again next week.

Cross Country
The cross country season continued last night and once again it was a great turn out by the pupils of LGJS. Lots of Year 3s contributing to the team which means the future looks great. The boys team nished 5th and the girls 3rd. Once again Ryan and Holly nished rst in their races. Next week at Sheldon Country Park, everyone welcome.

Football
Another good week for the boys football teams. Into another nals and through to the next round of the HMS cup. We are always proud of the children that represent us in any sporting/non-sporting activities.

Red Nose Day

is on the 15th March, a yer will be coming out but be prepared to have messy hair. Have a great weekend everyone!

The attendance for the current week, 14.2.13 to 28.2.13 was 96.80%. Congratulations to Classes 5E and 6F for being the best attenders this week. Their attendance was 98.89% which is an excellent example to everyone. Thank you!
