Release and waiver: Please enter me into the rUNDEAD 5k trail run to benefit Special Olympics New York. In consideration and acceptance of this entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators release and discharge Special Olympics New York and any and all sponsors, supporters, organizers, property owners employees and volunteers in any way associated or affiliated with Special Olympics New York from all claims, damages, demands and actions whatsoever in any manner growing out my of participation (or the participation of my child who is under the age of 18.) in the rUNDEAD 5k trail run. Make Yourself a Meal!

All ages welcome. There will be two flights for runners. A competitive flight, Fast Food and a non-competitive flight, All You Can Eat. Pre -registration cost for runners is $25, which N E T runner goes up to $30 day of. Each W O R K S will receive access to the course, race day festivities and an official rUNDEAD race day tshirt. Runners can sign up as individuals or as teams.

Help Prevent the Apocalypse What is the rUNDEAD?

A 5k trail run through Clarkson University, where runners are trying to escape hungry zombies. Be a member of The CDC! There are opportunities to volunteer as a course official, at a health station, for registration, etc. Sponsorship opportunities also available.

The Zombies Course Map:

Running races not your thing? Be a zombie! Each zombie will be transformed in our Mob Tent the day of the event from 7:30am to 9am. Bring your own attire and let us make you into the undead.

Will You Survive?

Each runner will start off with a flag belt and three flags. These flags represent your lifelines. Zombies throughout the course will be attempting to take these one at a time. If you lose all three, your dead and the zombies have won.

Hunters & Crawlers

Were recruiting two types of zombies to go after their meals. Hunters will be allowed to chase runners for a short distance. Crawlers can walk, stumble, shuffle or band together to strategically remove flags. Zombies are not allowed to physically touch runners.

Escape the Virus!

Use speed, strategy whatever it takes to keep your flags. If you finish the race with at least one, youve survived. If zombies have taken all your flags you can complete the race but you wont be eligible for awards. facebook.com/TheRUNDEADNorthCountry
