U samom prevozu (vozu) se ne cekiraju karte.

Karte cekiras na ulazu u metro, obicno je to pre pokretnih stepenica, ili negde pod zemljom usred hola... necete to promasiti, vidno je. Visoke kao sipke na kojima su ti aparati. Videcete uostalom i druge ljude kako cekiraju. Ako niste sigurni gde, pitajte nekog oko vas. Ali nema sanse da promasite. Karte pocinju da vaze kad se otkucaju, nakon otkucavanja krece da tece vreme od 24h, 48h, 72h. Karte za pojedinacnu voznju isto trebaju da se otkucaju (nisam ih koristila, ali verujem da je tako). Dok Wochenkarte, koja vazi od ponedeljka do ponedeljka ne treba otkucavati, jer ona uvek vazi od ponedeljka u 09 h do sledeceg ponedeljka u 09. Ili vazi od momenta vase kupovine do ponedeljka u 09h. To vam dođe kao nedeljna pokazna.

U neposrednoj blizini Stephansplatza. Mali savet, postoje dva ulaza koji su na razdaljini od oko 100 metara. Ukoliko je gužva u jednom, idite u drugi, potpuno su isti. Necete se razocarati. Becka snicla je ogromna! (takođe, krompir salata je sjajna).

Našmarkt smo obišle od kraja ka početku (početak mi je kod Secesionizma, taj vrh), i odmah kod jednog bračnog para iz Bugarske kupile suvo voće, alvu i još neke pikanterije. Ispalo je da su jeftiniji od ostalih, a možete i da pitate da spusti cenu, na srpskom. Videla sam da se falafeli prodaju za 40 centi komad, a ja sam dobila besplatno jedan na probu od naših ljudi, jer su me čuli kako pričam. To je ukusna mini-pljeskavica od povrća (negde sam pročitala od leblebije i boba).

Ima više varijanti ulaznica za Schönbrunn, najskuplja je ako se uzme karta u kombinaciji s obilaskom Hofburg, može da se uzme Kombiticket od 17 E za obilazak dvorca, parka i Gloriette, ili posebno Grand Tour 12,9 E koja obuhvata obilazak 40 soba dvorca. Odlučujemo se za Grand Tour, 40 prostorija carskog para Franje Josifa i Elisabeth, te Franjine bake Marije Terezije. Posle obilaska fascinatnih soba, koje ne smemo fotografisati, uz audiovodič, obilazimo oko Kronprinzgarten, pijemo kaficu u restoranu ispred dvorca, pa se upućujemo oko parkova ka vidikovcu Gloriette. Usput uživamo u Neptunovoj fontani.

Gloriette, ulaz 2 E, pruža divan pogled na parkove Šenbruna, dvorac, i s druge strane na renoviranje jezera. Poznanici nas vode na ručak u odličan restoran na ulazu u kompleks Šenbruna, “Residenz”, supa, file od smuđa i kafa. Nas dve nastavljamo u glavnu šoping ulicu Mariahilferstrasse. Nalazimo poklone. Po preporuci, nalazimo Kurkonditorei “Oberlaa”, Babenbergerstrasse 7 gde idemo na poznate Topfenknödel 5,9 E (2 knedle od sira sa kremom od šljiva i šlagom, odlično). Povratak u hotel tramvajem S1. Idemo zatim u Betovenov muzej, Mölkerbastei 8, Beethoven Pasqualatihaus. 101 stepenik, 4. sprat, ulaz 2 E. Ludwig van Beethoven (17701927) je u ovoj kući živeo 4 + 4 godine, i tu napisao 5,7 i 8. simfoniju, “Za Elizu” i svoju jedinu operu “Leonore” kojoj je promenjeno ime pri prvom izvođenju, pa je postala “Fidelio”. Ovde je komponovao i "Mesečevu sonatu", da bi slepoj devojci zvucima naslikao mesečinu! U muzeju su slike iz njegovog vremena bez originalnih stvari koje su pripadale Betovenu. Suvenirnica u prizemlju ima skroman izbor suvenira vezanih za ovog velikog kompozitora.
Još nam traje dnevna karta 24 h, pa se vozimo ujutro tramvajem S1 do Löwengasse, da ponovo vidimo Hundertwasserovu kuću. Snimamo neobičan toalet u Hundertwasser village, u kvartu suvenira. Pešice nastavljamo na kej, Josefs kai, do palate Urania (opservatorija). Na neobičnom restoranu u obliku broda pijemo kafu iznad dunavskog kanala. Nastavljamo u ulicu Rottenturm, ka Stephansplatz i skrećemo u Kohlmarkt strasse 14, gde se nalazi čuveni “Demel”, osnovan 1786, poslastičarnica i izrada slatkih gulozarija najvišeg kvaliteta i božanskog ukusa. Služi nas kelnerica Snežana iz Subotice, u Beču 10 godina. Gledajući kroz staklo poslastičarski atelje u kome mladi poslastičari vajaju neobične torte, mi uživamo u sladolednom kupu fenomenalnog ukusa Crème Grenoble, 6,7 E. “Snimile “ smo sastav i pokušaćemo napraviti nešto slično prvom prilikom. Kugla običnog sladoleda (ako tu uopšte ima običnog) košta 2 E. Kupujemo gulozarije za poklone, naprimer Cognacscheiben zarte bitterchokolade gefüllt mit Remy Martin. U “Demel” nije zdravo duže se zadržavati, jer može očas posla otići sva finansijska rezerva. Najlakši način da se nađe “Demel” jeste da se kroz kapije Hofburga ide preko trga Michaeler Platz pravo u Kohlmartkt strasse. Idemo obrnutim putem, preko tog trga u kompleks Hofburg, pored Španske škole jahanja (Spanische Hofreitschule), preskupo za posetu), Augustinerkirche ( u kojoj nedeljom peva Hor bečkih dečaka, ali nigde ne piše u koje vreme, pa ih nismo ni čule. Proba hora je sredom u 18,50). Nastavljamo u Augustinerstrasse, u Albertinu, liftom u glavni ulaz. Ulaznica za muzej košta 9,5 E. Noge otpadaju dok se sve ne obiđe, i ne vidi cela izložba (Von Monet bis Baselitz). Na 2. spratu impresionisti i ekspresionisti. Počinje jak vetar, odmor u parku Hofburga. Sa Sisi kartom dobijamo popust 1 E za ulaz, inače 9,5 E, u kompleks palate Hofburg: Kaiserapartements (carske odaje), Sisi museum (muzej posvećen životu omiljene Sisi) i Silberkammer (carsko blago, posuđe, escajzi). U Sisi muzeju saznajemo legendu o Elisabeth zvanoj Sisi, rođenoj 1837, neviđenoj lepotici, koja se sa 17 godina udala za svog rođaka Franju Josifa, bila voljena, rodila troje dece, izbegavala carske obaveze i dvorski protokol, mnogo putovala, redovno vežbala svakog dana i održavala svoju izuzetno vitku figuru, a ubijena je u Ženevi u 61. godini 1898.

Mali odmor, u hotelu, pa idemo u sastajalište glumaca, pored Burgtheater, u “Café Landtmann”, na odličnu Apfelstrudel mit Schlagober i vanileis (štrudlu od jabuka sa šlagom i sladoledom od vanile) = 5,3 E. Obilazimo veoma lep Burtheater, prekoputa Rathaus, a pored “Café Landtmann".
