Purpose: Teach Ball Carrier to lower shoulders and run through defenders Great to re-enforce getting low and firing feet to get across goalline. Drill:

Blocking Battle
Purpose of Drill: Great way to teach stalk blocking while building competition within your players. Drill Instructions: 1. Set up 2 cones 3-5 yards apart. 2. Match players up based on size and strength. 3. Put players nose to nose in a good athletic stance. This will eliminate some contact and
force them to focus on proper hand and feet placement during the block.
4. On cadence each player must drive the other player past the cone behind them. 5. Progress the drill by separating the players to arm length apart then to NO MORE than 3 yards apart. 6. By blowing a delayed whistle or waiting to see how quits on the block before passing on the cone, will test the will to compete in a player. ****Please use proper match ups of size & strength*****
