GENERAL OBJECTIVES It is the general objective of the study to acquire knowledge, skills, and awareness about Pulmonary Tuberculosis

(PTB) and to fully understand the said disease. We should be able to widen our way of thinking in handling cases of PTB in the community. Most of all we as health care provider students should be able to apply the real quality of health care providing to our patient for the improvement of their lives.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE To gather data about a particular PTB patient. To gain a comprehensive knowledge on what the disease PTB does to the human body. To gather data about the drugs a PTB patient intakes. To create a nursing care plan concerning PTB. To provide health teaching to the patient so he can manage his condition. To make the patient to understand PTB, and the importance of maintaining good health status. To provide recommendations for the community on how to prevent and handle PTB.
