Tutorial making oxidizing bronze on paper

Did you ever looked at the colour of oxidizing bronze? I only waited a split second, the paint was not dry and then immediately I smeared gesso over it. To get an uneven look, I dabbed with a cloth and then when my work became tot dry I sprayed some water over it and again gently rubbed with a cloth. The water 'slide' up the top layer the gold appears again. Where I found it too much I just dabbed gesso and smeared it out. I was quite pleased with the result.

Here a tutorial how to do that on paper:

Get started with putting gold acrylic paint on paper.

let it completely dry and than put in a ratio of 1 / 3 green acrylic paint blobs and 2 / 3 blue over the gold and rubbed it in. Only waited a split second, the paint cant be dry and then immediately put gesso on top

The water 'slide' up the top layer and the gold appears again. Where it is too much rapped off, just dabber some gesso on it again, and gently again smear it out. To complete the look, in real time this bronze looks a bit shiny, dabble the embossing pad over it and sprinkled clear embossing powder and heated it. You can then use it for what purpose you want
