Amidst the disturbing energies of our collective karma and the consequential stress and uncertainty in the region, we have decided to move the Yoga Shakti Retreat from Turkey to a more serene location near Lake Orta, Italy.

Our prayer remains for each of us to experience the ow of Divine Grace and Soma of the serene surroundings of our new retreat location in Orta, situated on sunny terraces in northern Italy, amidst Mother Nature with ancient chestnut trees and the Alpe Selviana waterfalls. The noticeable Shakti energy and mild climate provide an ideal environment to rejuvenate and enhance one's spiritual experience. The quaint town of Orta gives its name to the lake. Its central square, Piazza Motta, opens onto the lake with a view of the San Giulio Island with its monastery. The monastery with its chapels atop Monte Sacro above Salotto d'Orta is dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of Italy.
