Below the list are pictures showing where the hearts should be traced on the body. 1. With your hands on the front of your thighs, take a nice long, slow, deep breath and let it out with a long exhalation. 2. As you inhale again, lightly drag the tips of your fingers up the centerline of the front of your body all the way up to the top of your forehead. 3. Exhaling, trace a heart from your forehead to your chin. (See figure 1 below.) 4. Inhaling, lightly drag your fingertips back up the center of your face to the top of your forehead. Then, while exhaling; trace the heart a second time. (Figure 1 again.) 5. Repeat step 4 one more time. 6. With a deep breath in and out, move your hands down to the middle of your chest over your Heart Chakra. 7. Inhaling, begin tracing a heart with your hands flattened against your body as they move up over your chest and, while exhaling, finish tracing the heart by moving your hands around the trunk of your body, continuing down to a point just below your navel. (See figure 2 below) 8. Repeat step 7 two more times, but begin tracing the heart from the point below the navel and travel up and over the chest area on the inhale. Then finish tracing the heart on the exhale. 9. Starting at the top of your pubic bone, draw your flattened hands up your body to the top of your forehead as you inhale. 10. Exhale as you extend your hands straight up above your head, turn your palms to face the floor and sweep them down to the sides as though you were pushing down on a heavy spring. Return your hands to the point at the top of your pubic bone.(See figure 3 below) 11. Repeat steps 9 through 12 two more times.
