is just the ꖿrst step in a Iong process. Our test Iaboratory in Munich exposes themto additionaI
extreme stresses before they earn their stripes as BMWMotorrad heImets.
1. The UVtest:
We expose tne ne|mets to UV ||gnt |n our c||mate
cnamber to ensure tnat tne|r spec|a| mu|t|p|e coat-
|ngs do not fade.
2. The rain test:
¯ne ra|n cnamber s|mu|ates bad weatner cond|t|ons,
w|tn water com|ng not just fromabove, but a|so from
be|ow, as |t wou|d |f tne r|der were caugnt |n tne spray
of a pass|ng truck, and w|tn a neadw|nd b|ow|ng tne

3. The aeroacoustic test:
