2, 2008 BHS cross country again in the hunt for region and state titles
By Catherine Garrett

Bingham High’s top cross country runners for the boys and the girls squads aren’t just great runners who are only sophomores; they also excel at other endeavors. Jeremy Troff is a champion chess player and Aubrey Credaroli is the state’s leading girl in dirt bike racing, where she competes in two different classes. But, they have turned their attention to cross country this season and their performances are turning heads. “It was hard to get Jeremy out last year at track because of his chess commitments but once we did he’s been amazing,” said head coach Jeff Arbogast. The mental strategies he employed in chess have worked to Troff’s advantage to become one of the top runners in the region, as evidenced at the Sept. 10 region meet at the Cottonwood Complex where he finished third in 17:23.
