NEURONES

1. Motor Neurones:  Many short dendrites carry nerve impulses from the central nervous system(CNS) to the cell body.  One long axon carries nerve impulses from the cell body to the effector cells 2. Sensory Neurones:  One long dendrite carries nerve impulses from receptor cells to the CNS.  One short axon carries nerve impulses from the cell body to the CNS. 3. Relay Neurones:  Many short dendrites carry nerve impulses from sensory neurons to the cell body.  Many short axon carry nerve impulses from the cell body to motor neurons.
