INTRODUCTION Dynamis is an oil and gas service company specializing in delivering electrical, automation and instrumentation services to the energy sector. Dynamis focuses on turnkey project execution to deliver power generation and distribution, electrical and instrumentation and industrial automation services. Dynamis to its core is an Engineering consultancy firm whose core workforce are engineers. The firm was formed in December 2011. Dynamis is ISO: 9001 certified company and has clients all around the globe. Dynamis has two offshore offices Canada (Calgary), U.A.E (Dubai) and Head Office in Pakistan (Lahore). COMPANY PROFILE The company has total 35 employees, 7 Draftsmen, 16 Engineers and 12 Service People. Service People include HR, Admin and Finance Department Employees and CEO himself. The employees mostly engineers and Draftsmen have been divided into a teams and every team has been assigned offshore or inshore projects. Dynamis ensures that its employees are competent enough for the tasks assigned. Dynamis provides following services to its clients mostly electrical, automation and instrumentation services to the energy sectors globally. APPRAISAL CRITERIA AND ITS EVALUATION Dynamis is engineers based company so mostly the objectives of the appraisal are based on the technical expertise which the employer has gained during the year. Strategy which the company has adopted for the appraisals is Performance appraisals and major objectives on which the employees are evaluated after the year are Development and Feedback. The employees are evaluated through: a. Supervisor Evaluation b. Self- Evaluation c. Multisource Evaluations As the company was formed a year ago the bench mark for ideality is not yet defined. ANALYSIS Employees were evaluated on the detailed evaluation form. This form was handed over to the immediate Lead and the employer itself and Indirect Supervisor. This will help in removing biases which help favorites and not the capable ones. The questionnaire had two major factors incorporated in it i.e. Technical knowhow, attributes and training tests results. All the questions carry equal percentage. The questionnaire carries 7 headings. Information provided is tabulated and averages of the Technical knowhow, Attributes and Training Tests Results are calculated and final average is calculated. The questionnaire incorporates 7 headings: I. II. III. IV. V. VI.
