Life Skills through Stories

This course has been designed to facilitate the development of essential life skills necessary for people to reach their full potential, as well as developing self-confidence and cultural awareness through storytelling workshops. The course emphasizes the importance of self-awareness, goal-setting, planning, decision-making, problem solving, good communication, building relationships, wellness and contributing to the community.
Life Skills through Stories is an opportunity for people to explore alternatives in their lives, to develop selfconfidence, to do things in a new way and to make solid plans to reach their goals. It is a way to discover more about yourself, your own abilities and what may be holding you back from living life to your full potential.

All Tuesday sessions will be held in the Parish Hall Oldcastle. Storytelling workshop with Mary will be held by an open fire in The Fincourt Café, Oldcastle.
