By including Equus (horse) in our daily practice of cultivating balance or equanimity, we are provided with a unique role model – another conscious being who demonstrates with wisdom and peace how to be in the present, how to let go of attachment and accept life as it is. Also infused in our experience is the labyrinth. Interweaving horse wisdom with the powerful experiences found in these meandering paths has the potential to profoundly enhance our work as we explore our life journey and ways of being present to the world around us and our companions along the way.
