Big Ben
Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the northeastern end of the Palace of Westminster in London.. The nickname is often also used to refer to the clock and the clock tower. This is the world's largest four-faced, chiming clock and the third largest free-standing clock tower in the world. It celebrates its 150th birthday in 2009, during which celebratory events are planned.

The London Eye
The London Eye (also known as the Millennium Wheel) at a height of 135 meters (443 ft). is the biggest Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3 million people a year. At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165m) on 11 February 2008. However, it is still described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered obser vation wheel".

The British Museum

The British Museum is a museum of human history and culture situ ated in London. Its collections which number more than 7 million objects, are amongst the larges and most comprehensive in the world and originate from al continents, illustrating and docu menting the story of human cul ture from its beginning to the present.
