INTRODUCTION:

Library is regarded as the brain of any institute.

Provide convenient & easy way to perform common library operations. Organize and manage functions of library efficiently.

Provide a portable interface to the library services with mobile phones. Students access books through mobile phones.  Users register to the system. Users can search and reserve library books.   .

Fine computation and it’s notification. Messages are send and received using GSM modem.   . Provide a better accessibility by an interface through mobile phones.

 Reduces human errors.  .  Provide a user friendly environment.IMPORTANCE: Makes existing system more efficient.  Makes searching easier.  Reduces paper works.  Makes functioning of library faster.

Book issuing.EXISTING SYSTEM:  Maintains a database of registered users & various books.   . renewal etc done by the library staff using the software. Each library member allotted an account id.

Inability to perform even.  . the most common operations such as: Renewal of books without the help of the library staff.LIMITATIONS OF EXISTING SYSTEM:   Limited accessibility.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:  Provides the users with an interface to the library by a mobile phone. The system consists of an administrator part and a client part.   Administrator issues books and maintains database . .

Notification messages of computed fine to users. Special formats for messages to GSM. In the client part the user can reserve and search books via mobile phones.   .

LIMITATIONS:  GSM modem is expensive. .
