Utopia

By: Caleb Kestner A fallen heart a risen soul A story spun of words untold A memory once lost in time A thought at last regained in rhyme A perfect place that’s built to fail A beauty to vast too entail A dream too fragile to exist A golden city fades to mist A perfect moment never whole A dream lives on though minds grow old

This poem has changed a lot and may still change a bit in the future. It’s about utopia and how in a fallen world it can never be achieved but it will always strived for and never truly die. It’s that striving that makes life worth living and truly exemplifies what it is to be Christian. It’s about how utopia may never be achieved but it’s the only thing worth truly fighting for.
