IntroductionScience and religion are two aspect of observing nature and natural phenomenon.

At several instances religious view was challenges by science which resulted into a confliction, sometime leads to cold war. As science has grown to a level where it can challenge many aspect of religious thought, no of conflict went down but still it is going on. A recent news of conflict between science and religion is reported in my home time (barahiya, bihar) regarding killing of goat in temple said as pashu bali. According to religious people If we will not give bali (sacrifice or kill) got in temple the goddess will ask sacrifice from people which will lead to violence among people and ultimately death. So to stop this we should give bali on every Saturday and Tuesday. According to scientific peopleIt is insignificant and we should not promote pashu bali on the name of goddess. It should be banned. Result of conflictReligion has defeated science and still pashu bali is going on. ConclusionScience is based upon logic and proof but religion is based upon belief. So for anything which is happening based upon religious belief can be avoided only if there is proof as it was the case of Galileo. So still science has to grow to break all the myth of religion then only several act which is performed on the basis of false religious belief such as pashu bali can be avoided.
