Evaluation of Core Banking System Implemented in Canara Bank.

Core Banking is networking of branches, which enables Customers to operate their accounts, and avail banking services from any branch of the Bank on Core Banking network, regardless of where he maintains his account. The customer is no more the customer of a Branch. He becomes the Bank’s Customer. Thus Core Banking is a step towards enhancing customer convenience through anywhere and anytime banking. Older core banking platforms and modern core banking platforms are quite different. Replacing these older systems with modern ones is often a time when banks consider strategic transformation, process revision and identifying new target operating models.

AIM & OBJECTIVES Aim of my Project is to evaluate the change that has been brought into the banking sector after the concept of Core Banking has been introduced.
