The “Effective Taxicab Driver Training Program”: • is 17 days long • is held weekdays, y , from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • takes place at the Municipal Licensing and Standards Training Centre (located at: 1530 Markham Road, 3rd Floor)

To obtain your licence you must: • have successfully completed all training • present your First Aid/CPR p y certificate (part of the course) • present a medical certificate signed by a qualified physician • present a police check

To register you will need to: • pay the course fee of $601.23 • complete a registration form g a waiver allowing g the City y • sign to obtain a drivers abstract • provide a criminal (police) check • present two pieces of ID • present a class “G” provincial driver’s licence • demonstrate eligibility to work in i Canada C d You will receive: • receipt (keep for tax purposes) • course confirmation for taxi training and CPR course study package • pre pre-study • medical certificate

Effective Taxicab Driver Training Program
The Effective Taxicab Training Program is a 17-day training program for individuals wishing to acquire a taxicab driver's licence in the City of Toronto. This program is designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of individuals interested in pursuing a career as a professional taxicab driver. To successfully complete the course, participants must meet attendance requirements, obtain a minimum grade of 70% on every section of the final exam, and achieve a final overall course grade of 80%.
